Aspect of War Intercepting Bug

Aspect of War states that intercepting the AI's heavy attack nullifies its Unstoppable buff. I just tried this against Venompool on Unollected in Enter the Cabal 3.1. I evaded the Venompool's 1st heavy attack hit and then used a light attack to intercept him before his 2nd heavy attack hit finished. I landed the hit but Unstoppable was not nullified. Does this mean we can only intercept with medium attacks?
