Nice pull! I have morningstar duped at 4/40 and she is super fun to use and definitely worth ranking up.
Good for quest content, dungeons(i used her for dungeons and i hardly needed any potions)or AQ/AW if you can build up souls. 4 souls will increase your perfect block chance by a lot and 5 souls will give her life steal chance when you hit the opponent. With 5 souls, as long as you don't get hit you can easily stay at 100% at the end of the fight.
Use sp2 only when the opponent has (m)any buffs on them, it deals bonus damage per buff. With 3 souls it'll be unblockable so you can launch it anytime the opponent has many buffs.
A tip when getting souls: if you launch an sp3 and it doesn't k.o. the opponent, you have to deal damage to them to get a counter up to 100 to steal the soul. Damage taken will decrease your counter(DoT counted as well for both). So i suggest you launch the sp3 when you are confident it will k.o. the opponent, for a guaranteed soul.
If you spend units on offers, only get the ones with t4cc. Since you are a noob they are very rare.
But since you're a noob, I would read about masteries and spend the units on them first. Makes everything easier.
