The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!
Yes - Ghost Rider’s regeneration is absolutely amazing
I have all of the said champs -
Wolverine, Ultron, GR, Blades, Guillotine, Hyperion, Doc VooDoo
and I'd say GR's regen is pretty OP, given you can time the judgement right and get in those hits for the regen. Stun Immune do create problems for the regen especially if the opponent Heavy/SP1 has no opening to heavy back.
Ultron is reliable as well, gets a good regen twice in a fight and can clear lanes with ease.
I find myself rarely using Blade regen, simply because it is better to attack than go back and try to regen. Aggressive AI at higher difficulties just makes it difficult to regen.
Guilly is unreliable, when it sticks it sticks.
Most fights get over before Hyp can try to regen.
Doc VooDoo has a really good regen, almost 20-25% at the beginning of each fight. Really good for short fights and clearing lanes, killing bosses.
How are you guys able to use that regen so well? Does duping him give better regen? I try to do the 'end a combo on light attack' judgment, then the SP1 judgment, then a heavy for regen proc.
I don't know why it is, but I seem to really struggle getting a few good hits in before the timer expires. The opponent evades, blocks, attacks and I just can't seem to get more than 1 combo in before running out of regen time.
Lol @ not being able to regen blade in act 5... that’s a you problem then. Blade regens just fine in act 5. Blades regen is better than gr’s Hands down. Omegas is better too. Grs is great also though, excellent champ. Best regen is Corvus and omega with suicides and willpower.. regen every fight with huge attack boost on top.
Seems like u guys have never used rogue. She has the most descent regen as is not out of rng and it’s not capped u can infinitely regain easy 100% of maximum health during each fight. Without complicated mechanics and comes paired with a damage that bypass all restrictive nodes. Easy to use and if her signature ability is maxed and have the class advantage she steals more than 23% per activation.
Regarding GR's damage, for what it's worth... With suicides, at 5/65 sig 140, while his fury is up (duration can be controlled) he's landing 5-6k mediums. Also, if triggered during fury, his bleed ticks for over 1k. So he benefits from DW as well.

Old thread but ok. Ghost Rider is the best regen champ that I've found. And his damage output is pretty much insane when he's at a high sig and combine that with Evil's Bane and he crits like hell, which only a few know and everybody claims him to be a wet noodle.

If I know the fight is going to take a lot of hits, I usually go SP1, bleed, SP2, build up power until I can heavy and immediately throw my SP3....the SP3 power locks the opponent, so I can hit the enemy and regen as much as I want during that time
For shorter fights, I usually just do bleed, SP1, and then heavy or I just start with heavy and regen a little bit each fight.

Stack the judgments—I tend to wait for Sp2, then add a Sp1 later. That will give me both of those judgments. If the opponent has a special, it’s a good idea to make him use it before you parry+heavy. That way he will be more likely to play aggressively while you have the full timer for regen up.
Then just hit away. If you have a special, I try to save it for the end of the regen timer if I need it. Otherwise, I save up for Sp3 and refresh the cycle once the regen timer expires.
A dupe simply gives you one more judgment. Extra judgments give you a longer regen timer, but I find the 2-3 I get from playing normally and using specials is sufficient.
Old thread is old. GR has great regen but I'd still take blade in most cases. The ability to start a fight, parry, inflict bleed, gain power and convert it to health almost instantly is huge. If you end a fight low you can recover quickly in the next one, no need to build judgements, hope they land, get the heavy off and then land more attacks. Not that it's bad.. it's a great natural judgement to work into your GR rotation... it's just the lack of damage that forces you into these rotations.
Ending fights quickly is the best regen as you have less time to lose health in the first place.
Better revive an old Thread with some answers already told, then create all day a new one. the "Reviver" proofs he can use search funktion. that alone is an applause worth. (no Sarcasm!)
