How do arena grinders keep it interesting? (edited by mod for clarity)

I watch youtube videos on my tablet while grinding arena on my phone...

4 star basic grinder only. I can usually grind out enough to hit cutoff for the majority of champs in 5 hours or less. Nonconsecutive play, that is. 30 minutes while on a boring work conference call, 20 minutes before bed, an hour on lunch, etc. Doesnt take all that much.

I tend to use only 3/30 champs or greater to maximize my score, try to take synergies and matchups into account and use my alliance for help as much as possible to keep my best champs available.

Lastly, a mastery that boosts PI doesnt hurt either, though I've recently switched from running suicides as it was a drag for AQ and AW.
