    Several of the Youtubers have already commented on the fact that if you are an arena grinder the 5* featured arena is your best bet for 5* shards. A strong grinder can get 2000 5* shards per event (it takes ~12 million) and a less strong grinder can still get 1000 5* shards (~6 million) or 500 5* shards (~ 3 million) per event. That's 16000 5* shards per month at the high end, and 4000 5* shards at the low end. When you factor 5* shards from other sources - monthly quest, alliance events, AW, duping 4* champions - you're in the vicinity of being able to get about 4 5* basic crystals per month.
