IDK if this is a bug or not but currently, whenever I use a special 1 or 2 after a combo, the enemy often just blocks it. This happens too often compared to before

    There is a timing element to it, sometimes and for some champions you have to get the timing correct, though there have been some bugs where the window was too small in the past but not seen it recently. Try ending with a light attack or do the special while still in the medium animation.

    yeah, i have the same feeling, but i wasn't sure if i just play it bad, because i am off my ussual rhytm - trying to learn evading instead of blocking 🤔

    @alikal1 this is still happening to me randomly in all game modes. It's annoying bc harder content can KO us w/a 5 hit combo or Special. Been able to recreate it in Variant & happened vs Ghulk in last AWar. It's very frustrating & now I try not to use items/units when this occurs but restart/back out which takes a lot more of my time & takes some of the enjoyment out of playing MCOC personally.

    @Lormif I agree with u about practicing timing, but this is happening alot more often to many allies, even very skilled players. I do make human mistakes, but also notice a significant difference in the AI blocking SPs after a MLLL, MLLLM & even MLL combos.

    Connecting Phoenix’s SP1 after her second medium is annoying... do it too soon, the second medium hit won’t hit and the opponent will block
    A little bit too late, the hurtstun is over and he’ll block again ._.

    I keep getting my sp1 and sp2 blocked too. I rapidly tap the sp button during the light or medium attack animation so there is no hesitation on my part. Doesn’t matter if the special attack is coming off a 1,2,3,4, or 5 hit combo. It’s All game modes.
    This problem stopped for me for a while and has come back again.

    Also a lot of times when I tap once for a special attack, it doesn’t register at all.

    Yeah it is a timing thing it seems and it sucks too. The biggest issue I have with it is when I use KM sp2. I always try after a 5 hit combo and 9/10 times they block. I usually have to do it in the middle or end of 4 hits or a parry

    Just the AI being annoying happened to me plenty of times.
