Can’t sell max level four stars?

I was scrolling through my roster and wanted to see what rewards you would get for selling a max level four star. I had no intention of doing it and I don’t think anyone should, but I found that I just couldn’t. Have Kabam removed the ability to sell max level four stars? Let me know if you’re having the same issue.

    my bad, was replying in a rush on my lunch, bit strange, I've just checked and all my 5/50 4* champs have the sell option

    You can still sell maxed 4* champs dude ?

    Wonder if for some reason it has to do with that champ having the pre-fight ability selector (blue icon on bottom-right corner of pic) ??
    Try it with CM-Movie (Sparkles) who also has blue icon, see if maybe that is the reason.

    Should NOT be a reason, just wondering if that is what causes your bug?

    Or could be a different take on what others have said, even though not on ATTACK in any quest, maybe is on DEFENSE (so that “in-use” icon might not be shown for defenders, just attackers ? And whether they are complete with their war, but not technically done with war. Might allow defenders to be used in new quests, but might not allow you to outright sell them yet ??

    Is he in an arena? That will also prevent you from selling him.

    Thanks for all the responses. To be clear I wasn’t going to. I also realise now that I was in AW but the icon wasn’t there so I was confused. Thanks!
