I am honestly starting to get sick how am I supposed to progress through anything with this lack luster roster of 5*. This is absolutely dis hearting to work so hard for shards and keep getting awful champions.

sun spot is good rest are meh but we all were at where you are its easier these days then back when many started...even compared to a year ago

I completely understand but this is getting very unacceptable it hurts when you know you have the skill to get past it all but you can’t because this game just messes you over and over. It’s starting to get boring doing that same things over.

With only 8 5*s you're probably not anywhere near the point where 5*s are necessary. Focus on maxing your 4*s first.

Yeah don’t jump into Act 6 mindset until you have at least completed 5.3.

If you have the skill as you say, then roster doesn't matter. Some people get better pulls than others. Just how it goes. Champs change too. Back in the day my 5 star juggernaut reigned supreme as aw boss.

Where are you currently at in the game? That plays a significant role into how important 5* champs are in your roster

Not even. I'm still using 4*s for UC EQs and for 5.4 exploration. Until you actually get into act 6/variant territory, 5*s aren't necessary.

If you get a good 5*, by all means prioritize it for rank-ups, but there's no rush.

skills don’t matter at all if you do not have the utilities which is what I lack very hard. I have hard hitters at rack 5 like Namor,Hyperion, and blade and have 5* sunspot but if you can’t stun an opponent Hyperion, sunspot, and Namor are almost usualness not complete usualness but you loose a big portion of damage. Because they take set ups and if the opponent can’t bleed say bye bye to blade big damage. And on top you have to play very very aggressive with Namor and sunspot and that’s hard to do in act5.4 and act5.3. I have wolverine and star lord r5 but those characters are decent but lack utility as well.

Captain marvel: poison immune, hard hitter.
Vulture: if nothing else he’s a Havok counter.
Civil warrior: power drain on sp2
Spider Man symbiote: very very long armour break on his heavy, hard hitter.

Skills and knowing the benefits/perks/whatever of champs is needed to progress in this game. Letting your progress be determined by RNG-esus will only lead to frustration.

My first 10 or 15 five stars were all trash. Then I finally pulled Hyperion, before that I done almost everything with Gwenpool and OG Captain America.

Chin up OP, there is a silver lining. My account suffered a similar fate to yours except it applied to my 4 stars as well. All I had was Blade. No trinity, just Blade and 4 random blokes i would add to my team to quest with. For a very long time. It was brutal lol.

My skills progressed out of necessity to advance in game. Eventually, better champs started coming my way. Content was simply easier to roll through.

My point is, eventually your roster will catch up to your skills. Skills travel to every portion of content and using crappy champs will only make you more skillful imo. The silver lining is if you can do content with trash, your gonna smoke it with better champs. At least in my experience.

Your luck will eventually change for the better, so to will your skill for having to use the not so great champs. Cheers.

Unless you are doing act 6/variants. 5*s really dont mattet just rank up some good 4*s and youll be fine. And with the champs you said you have in this thread. There really shouldnt be any content you cant get through at your progression level, if you are as "skilled" as you say you are

Namor actually excels against stun-immune champs, as he gains an outrage charge every time a stun fails to apply on parry. You don’t really have to play him that aggressive, you can build to two bars of power at your own pace and manually trigger IR, doesn’t take much set up at all. Once you get the hang of him he’s a very easy champ to play, I suggest you practise a bit more if you’re struggling with him in Act 5.

You can also heavy counter with Hyperion against stun-immunes, you just need to know your character animations and when you can and can’t counter.

I don’t think it’s the lack of favourable 5* champs that’s holding you back, I think it’s your playstyle and approach to non-conventional matchups.

Honestly, the problem here is your skill level. The champs you have are easily enough to beat act 5, maybe you should slow down and focus on exploring as much of the uncollected event quest as you can.

Just out of curiosity what champion are you waiting on that you think is good against stun immune nodes?

No problem, I have one at 5/65 sig200 that I'm constantly running for V2 exploration so happy to answer any other questions about him you might have.

Nah, no in particular just don’t want a champions the requires stun to get the most out of them like Hyperion,Namor, and sunspot. I’m pushing through content with them with some mild difficulty but I’m mainly looking for a power control kind of person. I’m thinking about ranking up my rouge or pyslocke.

Sunspot is a straight up beast, and doesn't need to be awakened. Take him up to r5 as soon as you can and he will take you places.
