Nerf Namor and Cull Obsidian in Jan.? Information from Chinese official webpage.

It's said Kabam is going to nerf Namor and Cull Obsidian in Jan.? Besides, Human Torch, Ebony Maw and Annihilus are involved at the sam time. This information was post on Chinese official webpage. Link is http://mcoc.163.com/news/843

    Guess we’ll have to wait until January to find out whether it’s a change to his sig or his damage output, or something else entirely. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

    Yes true if ther just implant in game before telling ther wil just do the same and wil be a diaster

    Agreed, hopefully they’ll handle it better this time. It’d be nice to be able to see the data that drove their decisions, as well as have the chance to provide feedback before changes are implemented.
    Regardless of what happens ther need to be cler about it els why pauses the updates if ther just make it anyway

    Blackbird is Cull Obsidian and Thunderbolt is Human Torch. I read some Chinese. Namor and Cull Obsidian are the only 5*s I have that I use so I hope they get balanced and not 'nerfed'

    I’m sure Kabam will make a reasonable decision. After all, there’s a reason why certain champs Are in the BGT category while others are destined to be relegated to meh tier. This is true for all fighting games.

    If the Chinese site is accurate it would be strange that the information between the two sites would differ..
    Last thing that makes this questionable is the release date.. official release date is Jan 7th yet the Chinese site states the 27th of Dec.

    Good call @Doomsfist79 . I also distinctly remember one of the mods stating 'soon' when someone asked about the status of the 're-balancing' info. So like I said above, we're still a few weeks away (in regards to the next update). Maybe on the 27th we'll be enlightened upon the proposed changes? I don't see them going live that particular day either.

    The answer is very simple.

    Kabam's original plan is to adjust balance when v25.2 releases in Jan. 2020.
    After they sent the news article to Chinese Netease for translation, Kabam decided to postponed it until Feb.
    Either Kabam forgot to tell Netease to remove the line, or Netease forgot to do so.

    I will lose my cool if they hit Namor. He's been out since way before Kabams "adjustment" timeline. We knew HT and Maw were in that adjustment window and that they wanted to tweak Cull but now Namor? Nothing is safe.

    Did you all even bother to stop and think maybe just maybe these so called changes are coming to the chinese servers itself. Netease has contest of champions but are doing their way under the supervision of kabam if you look at the abyss description it says must be a "knight" to take battle and last i check there is no such title with the name "Knight"

    Even the code names used for the champions are different. Kabam runs the game we play and what Netease is doing to their version of the game is no way connected to our version only difference is the servers
