I would pay good money to be able to do this.

No joke. It’s ridiculous that we can’t sell our 5* Champions. There’s got to be a way we can get this done.

    But that’s the thing, you do, and you don’t have to if you don’t want too. Which is only fair. But what’s not fair, is being stuck with Champions you have no use for.

    Even without being hacked, I have a friend who had an angry girlfriend sell all his champs lol. He still had his 5*s though so it wasn't the end (although 4*s were more relevant at the time). I agree with you @_KARNAK_ that people should have the right to play however they want including making what others would say are bad decisions, but in this case I think the cure would be worse than the disease.

    To make it fair and square, Kabam should simply remove the sell option for any type of Champion. Problem solved ;)

    I agree you have the choice to sell other champs so why not 5*?. It should be up to the individual. If they later regret it that's their issue. Also some champs are rubbish I have a few 5* champs and only like one or two are any good,, so selling would be good to invest gold in champs you actually want.

    Dumb question is dumb.

    By the time you have a 5* you should know why not to sell champions. If anything they should extend not being able to sell champions all the way down to 1* as having a 1* Hulk is basically a requirement for V4 100% and they become inaccessible after a fairly early stage in the game.

    Some people have problems with selling champs. They know they shouldn't but can't help themselves.

    Regardless of whether or not you agree with me, people should have the freedom to play the game however they want.

    Variant 4 and champion-specific gated paths are here to show you how valuable every champ is in your roster.

    Selling champs is dumb and shouldn’t be possible in the first place.

    Next type of quest could have very specific Gates such as 5* Iron Patriot, or 6* Jane Foster (or 1* Hulk, oops). But by all means, go ahead and ask to sell them (and then complain you don’t have them when you need them later on 😀).
