Alliance war start time

Hello everyone, recently I changed my alliance. In my previous alliance, war offence started on 10 pm. In my new alliance it starts 01.00 am. Is there any logical explanation for this that I am missing? Does it have to do with leader's local time or something like that?

    (I assume you live maybe Eastern Europe, or Middle East, area ?? Based on times).

    Did you drop to a much lower War Tier alliance, or to only 2BG or 1BG wars ? Or did you just move/visit some region several time zones further east ?

    Matchmaking starts at 6 pm US-NY time and can last for up to 4 hours. Higher Tier 3-BG wars getting matched earlier, and then going down to lower tiers or lesser BG wars.

    Then Attack starts 20 hours after your War Matchup is found (so anywhere between 2 pm and 6 pm US-NY time).

    A high tier 3BG war may indeed be Matched (and thus start their Attack the next day) about 3 hours earlier than ally's in a low tier 1BG war.

    @SummonerNR you got everything correct. I live in Greece gmt+3 eastern Europe time. I moved from a 2BG alliance to a totally new one which ran first war with one BG in tier22. From your a nswer I gather that as we move to higher tiers and 2BGs we can hope that attack will move earlier.
