We are a 5m alliance, how is it possible that 2 wars ago we had a 41m alliance as an opponent and this war 22m, can there be a bracket put in place for such amatchups as that definitely goes against the slogan of keeping the contest fair!!!

    That shouldn't happen as that indicates that the game intentionally wants you to lose as playing against an alliance of so much rating difference is not the contest being fair is it? There should be a cap to how much difference there can be, there are alliances with the same war rating in the same tier that we usually get matched against.

    Could have been a newly formed alliance that haven’t really done any war. It’s an algorithm so it’ll make sense in its own weird way. You just lucked out, sometimes you get the reverse

    It's really no fun when opponent has r2 6* and we fight with 5/50 4* and 3/45 5* and some still have 4/40 4*

    True, probably means that his going against ally's that don't do alot of war.
    Actually at the very bottom of brackets there are constantly new alliances being formed and trying to climb back to its proper place. So very likely they are near the bottom and just bad luck to face some newly formed alliances that are the result of top tier alliances crumbling
