Drop rates

Just a general comment: I’m tired of spending money and getting nothing in return. Every time I open a 3-5* type crystal, I always get the 3*. Never the 5*. Maybe if I’m lucky a 4* once imma blue moon. It’s just very frustrating to not get the top prize maybe even once in a while. But never getting it is just frustrating. I’m just venting. Maybe I should stop buying things in this game.

Ya really need to “vent” on an online public forum over your own decisions

@QuestStar cavalier crystals mostly give you garbage and you’re buying grandmaster crystals which are and always have been a waste of units

It’s grandmaster, nova core crystals, and the “increased chance 5*” crystals. And yes I am venting on my own decisions. Bad decisions.

They aren't bad decisions because of the crystal drop rates. They are bad decisions because they are making you unhappy. If you can spend money on those crystals and be happy with whatever you get, or at least only the reasonable kind of upset like when you miss a free throw, that's fine. But if you're disgusted with them, you shouldn't buy them. Personally I spend units I grind in the arena on Cavalier crystals, because I'm ok with whatever I get, mostly unlucky and occasionally lucky. But I would never spend cash on them because I would be a lot more upset about getting a really bad luck streak having spent cash than just in-game acquired units. So I don't.

Before you spend cash, ask yourself if you "need" a certain result. If you do, don't. Probability has no mercy. That's why so many people recommend spending on rank up materials rather than champion crystals if you're going to spend to advance in the game. Rank up materials tend to be much more generally useful, even when they are in random crystals. There's less psychological downside to spending cash on rank up materials. But champion crystals are explicitly designed to be very random and generally have low rates of getting higher tier champs. If you need to "win" at those, you should probably stay away from them.

Funny how that thing called “expectation” works. Spin out a few crystals truly not caring what you get, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

But throw in a smidgen of hope or expectation and....you’ll want to throw your phone.

Hey I get it though. Never in my life did I expect to get, and dupe, and 6 star Ebony Maw. And I don’t believe he will ever amount to anything. But if the day comes that the Mcoc fears the maw, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

There’s a silver lining to every pull. 3 days ago I pulled a 4* Diablo (could still be game changing) and was very unhappy. Then with no expectations pull 4* doom 2 days ago from feelin green! I managed to R4 him but was ISO broke, then duped Diablo and now dooms at R5. Don’t be disappointed just because it’s not what you want. ISO from 3/4*s accumulates FAST
