I don't get it. If we're only using 2 stars, why do we need to make the money-grab move to go Uncollected if everyone is going to be using the same rarity of champions. I feel like this is just a money grab by Kabam as they are trying to get as many people as possible Uncollected without any real reason other than a cash grab because everyone is going to be using 2 star champions anyway. Why not open it up to all players and test their skill level in T4 Red Rooms/Rifts?
Because Kabam needs to change their Title Based Progression System and rewards based on 1 title from 1 mode. It's the worst. That whole event is pretty bad to be honest, being that you have to go through all that work and have your rewards based on terrible RNG instead of guaranteed rewards.
Break the balance of the game, lol. It would RESTORE balance TO the game. If I started an account TODAY and was able to beat Epic Difficulty Red Rooms and T4 Rifts with only 2 star champions, how do you figure that I DON'T deserve whatever rewards come along with it? Just because YOU had to beat the collector to get them? Is this a carpenters union? Seniority should count for nothing. Skills should reign supreme in the contest. If I possess the skills to beat Epic difficulty content it shouldn't be a pre requisite that I beat the collector. The difficulty of the content is enough of a test in and of itself. Having beaten the collector beforehand would change nothing. It's all about more profits. If I've already played 4 years on my main acct and have the skills to beat the content on a low level alternate account why don't I deserve a few 6 star shards? Because nobody wants to share all the kamala kahne. If everybody had a 6 star kamala kahn a few of you wouldn't feel special anymore. :-( The only thing that would be broken is some peoples hearts.
If you walk into a carnival a half an hour before it closed and won a game do you not deserve the reward? Or should it go to the guy who was there since the carnival opened and played the game a thousand times and lost until he finally won? The answer is they both deserve their prize. But what if they told you that you could only play once per hour and then you were timed out? Or your prize was 1% chance at something you wanted and 70% chance at a turd in a box? Or what if the carnival had in fine print "rewards only available to people who have been in the park 8 hours or longer and have played 10 times or more". Because that would be a crooked practice and a money grab. And even if people were aware of the fine print before hand and were simply excluded instead of tricked into losing their money, it still wouldn't be an honorable practice. Thank God carnivals don't do that. Seems like a crappy way to run a business but I'm sure they would make alot of money and the people that actually got to play the games would defend the system. Maybe that's why carnivals are fun and mcoc is not a lot of the time. Not as fun as it could be. Why am I still playing then? That's my problem.

Lmao, looks like someone couldn't beat the collector. XD

You probably should go read back through the announcement

If you contain the skills to beat the epic content then you should be able to beat the collecter

This game isn't a carnival I don't say this because it is kind of cynical but you need to hear it already

You need tickets to enter most games in a carnival. That ticket in real life is Uncollected in the game.

Dude you apparently have 5 account. If you have time to have 5 accounts then you should have time to get uncollected on one of those with the supposed skill you said you have . The progression system isn't what's wrong, it's you not wanting to do it and expecting the rewards.

Damn, alright, time to destroy another idiot who doesn't understand the game's basic functions. First off, stop whining about such a simple progression system, most games have this form of progression. Second, I can beat Collector within 3 days, it's not about seniority it's about the fact you've earned the reward by proving to the game that you are able to do harder difficulties. Third, this event is based around 2 STARS, the level of difficulty is going to be so much lower than others because 2 stars are so easy to max out. I can't see why you don't understand this basic concept. Now, for your 'amazing' analogies. If you're able to beat Epic difficulty in a day, good job you did it. The event is not some sort of high end activity, it's an activity that rewards those who have worked towards higher end progression. It's simple, the farther you get, the better rewards you receive. Beating the Collector for a brand new player takes about 3 months which isn't difficult by any standards. For a player that has created an alt it should take between 3 days to a week. Simply put, progression is tied to how far in the game you get, not for how long you play. Also no, my heart wouldn't be broken if a player that just started got a 6 star. The entire GAME would be broken if a new player got a 6 star. They could clear progression at an extremely fast rate the second they received that 6 star. That shouldn't be possible without effort (which beating a 2 star event doesn't require lmao). Next up on the list is your second analogy which compares this game to a Carnival (Oh god please no, no, NOOOOO). Yes, if you walked into a carnival and won an arcade game reward I think you deserve it. Same if you play it a **** ton and get the reward. I don't see your point. A carnival (as much as we like to compare this game to one) is not at all similar to the game. The game is on a basis of working to earn your rewards. Should every player get the Cavalier calendar and it's crystals? That makes no sense because we have tiered progression like most games. You have to do something in order to get better potential rewards (literally don't know how many times I have had to repeat this). The system isn't the problem, you are. That's not to say the game doesn't have issues and should be completely overhauled, because it should. Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.
Also I'm pretty sure 2 stars are only required for the red rooms pretty sure for tier 4 rifts you can use any star. But maybe I'm wrong and if I am correct me.
