Red Room Daily Quest Intel Question

So I haven't seen anything about this yet and wanted to ask. What's the difference between doing one path of the Epic Daily Quest each day compared to saving up three key cards and doing 100% exploration of a Daily Quest? So far I've just done one path each day and got 258 intel.

You get completion rewards in that quest, no exploration rewards.
Unless the quest auto-resets every time you finish it, or reset each day, you won't get anything from it.

If that's the case, what exactly is the point of have three nearly identical paths?

Let’s you decide WHICH set of Drones you want to fight against with your 2* attackers.

No extra benefit from doing each of the 3 different paths or just the same path each day.

(Drone classes may or may not be random each day ?)

Just to clarify, it DOES auto-reset every time you finish it. Did 2 epic runs today, got the intel both times, even when doing the same path twice.

I did it twice today and it was exactly the same. Got Intel both times too.
