Question For all of you "AQ ONLY" People smh

For all of those that are AQ only, and you see your Alliance struggling in AW, why not just place some champs to help the defend the thing atleast? You've completed EQs, got only 3 locked up in AQ, why not just place your next bests to help your alliance out, come in last hour and kill the boss? Your AW status is your reputation, would you join an 15M Alliance that's Bronze 3, probably not. What's so hard about making a couple moves?

Some people just don't enjoy war. If its not expected of me to join, then I won't. No one can force to me play something that I don't enjoy.

Just a follow up question... If you log in everyday and see WAR RESULT: DEFEAT or have a Stone 3 symbol by your name, do you leave that alliance?

I'd rather be in a stone 3 alliance doing Map 4/5 and scoring 130+ million per AQ. I'd happily see defeat repeatedly because it's not my perogative to play war.

No, because I don’t care about AW. I was most recently in a Map 6 alliance that was Silver in AW. I joined because the focus was AQ and AW was optional. If AW was required I would not have joined.

Now I am in an alliance with just me and my alt doing Map 2 and am happy with the 2k Glory I get per week. Everyone has there own preferences. I use to do the grind - Plat1/Masters, Map 6/7 and to me it stopped being worth it about 6 months ago.

War isn’t fun at all. It’s hard and a big pain for lots of people and I can’t blame them. The AQ only alliances just don’t want to deal with the absolute BS of war

I enjoyed AW for a while, but then it got way to intense. Had to log-in every 2 hrs. Had to spend units on pots. Get yelled at if you die...turned into not fun.

And my serious response: join a different alliance. In mine, which is full, AQ is mandatory, and AW is optional. We run one BG and usually swap a player or two in or out so everyone gets their five wars. We organize ourselves thru a chat app, with a sign-up list and lane assignments. If the ally you're in does not want to do something similar, look for one that does.

1 month of work for a half a 5* vs 3 weeks of aq, 4-6 fully formed t2a 1-2 fully formed t5b, t4 pots for aq. And then the next week is all glory to stash. When you look at what you get for your effort aq takes the cake all day. I get my 5*shards from eq. If i need to i can grab some from arena. What does war have on that? The win/loss crystals are stale, the month long rewards are super weak considering the effort and stress it brings, but aq you can casually fo map 4×5 and pull 140mil and get 3600 glory and get all the stuff you need. If they would buff the rewards significantly taking into account i have to log in at my job for a month to make war moves the stress and coordination it requires everyone and the amount of shards you can get in eq and other content and stacked every tier so it was worth it. Then yeah. Id place my next best champs and log in the last hour to kill the boss.

Agree war is no longer fun and every few seasons they add insanely op nodes thinking it would be fun and iteractive when in reality is unfair and broken when comes to champions being on it.

Rewards at the end of the month isnt enjoyable either bc if you wanna win a certain placement reward you must win the wars and not allow for any room for error that would result in demotion of the league placement.

You alone may have convinced me off of AW, this year we stepped up AQ to map 4 and 5 and i agree with what we do, it far exceeds AW, the lack of development almost burnt me out, appreciate the input

War is dumb, don't understand why anyone would play it. The rewards are trash, not wasting my time to play AW any more. All AQ glory goes toward T5b and T2a. I get so much more of those by using all my glory on those resources than if I used all my glory to fight through tier 3 wars like I was doing. It's not even close. The one thing Kabam has got right was the update to the glory store. I praise them for that. Too bad they screw up pretty much everything else.

War is too stressful and if you make mistake it is a permanent punishment no help no fix.

And if you are in the middle of a very hard path you have only yourself and your resource to rely on, you have to do anything, spend any amount of money to get through it unless you are tough enough to tell your teammate, nah, Im done, good luck with the rest.

I know people on here are matter-a-factly and looking for likes and virtual high fives, but you actually changed my perspective on AW, after a month of prioritizing AQ in my alliance i have my first 5*r5 and had enough to r2 my first 6* if he turned out good (didnt it was daredevil). We have enough people and deep enough roster to do both aq and aw but AQ is more lucrative. Im my alliance's leader so AW status is your reputation to others. So i keep it respectable. Anyway all this just to say thanks
