Left thumb for blocking and specials and right thumb for everything else

Does this method have any drawbacks because I dont see anyone using it?

    No, it's a bit harder I guess, It's used a lot with ghost so you can fire her specials off quickly

    It is? I use left thumb for blocking, intercepting, first medium and specials; my right thumb for lights, heavies and dashing back (particularly the hold block & dash back method).

    When I use my Ghost I do the same, i just start keying in the special with my left thumb as soon as I dash back with my right thumb.

    Have always used left block/evade, and right attack.
    What do you gain by doing left medium attack ? Can you proceed with your left immediately from touching screen as blocking directly into a swipe medium, without lifting your left thumb ?

    left for blocking, dash back/dexing and specials ...all else with the right
