38 mill alliances shouldn’t be allowed to play in plat 4 or lower

The system as it is currently is trash

Just stop, if you’re good enough for plat 4 rewards you’ll beat whoever you come across.

The alliance I’m in is 30mil, we’ve beaten alliance with a higher alliance rating than us and we’ve lost to alliances with a lower rating, because the rating means nothing.
The skill of your members does.

Too bad Kabam's matchmaking is based on prestige and war rating. All the 30 mill plus alliances are basically punching themselves in the face week in and week out in gold 1 and 2. I can tell you 30 mill plus alliances would punish 20 mill alliances in gold 1 and 2. This group of alliances are the ones who get punished by kabam's match making the most.

This is so true. I happen to be in a p4 borderline p3 alliance but spent a couple seasons in gold 1/gold2 in 35 mil alliance with like 10.4 prestige. There was absolutely zero chance to ever go Up short of a perfect season and even the. It would be bottom p4

I find it funny that this guy makes posts whining about war, then when his misguided ideas are challenged he goes mysteriously quiet...

    We won lol

    After all that crying...
Quite frankly you don’t deserve gold 1 rewards nevermind platinum 4... with how little basic game knowledge you have.

Thank your lucky stars you didn't have to go against ASGRD. They 66mil in plat 4. They had a 3100 war rating while ours was roughly almost 2900. They placed every single R3 6* they possibly could. Now, they weren't "trying" because of their 1%'er boycott but we still had to clear most of the map and the boss we WE could stay in plat 3. You had it easy OP. I had to fight a R3 6* void on T3 nodes on node 11.

While some matchups are fair, they have every right to be in plat 4 as much as you do. Your opponent probably is taking AW lightly but it's not against any rules.

Well now you know how they are matching against lower alliances. They are losing against them.

Isn't Asgrd still on boycott though?

That's what I thought. Their "boycott" lasted a week. Supposedly they just aren't "spending" now.

Yep. I said that to their leader during war and got scolded. They said they weren't "trying" during the war but they placed a insane defense. They'll be spending on the 4th for sure.

If I remember correctly the week after the boycott supposedly started asgrd came first in Summoner Advancement (or maybe it was NY718 don't remember exactly) so it seems to me they are already spending anyway.

Alliance rating is irrelevant. My alliance has beaten far larger alliances and lost to far smaller alliances. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got 50 R3 6* on defence and a full team of R3 attackers if you’re clueless in game.

Also, can someone deal with the troll? This is up there with mr tier list from last month. If it’s the same guy - restraining order please, go find a different hobby.

I'm sure they are. If you think about it, what do they get by boycotting? They have everything already. They have so much money to burn, they do it on a mobile game. Their boycott means nothing to normal people. It's easy for them to log out for a week. What are they really going to miss out on? There's nothing they are missing out on. Just an overall empty threat.

Temporary spending boycotts for people who will literally spend whatever it takes to get what they want are meaningless, because money is fungible. Netmarble doesn't really care if they spend money in June or September. If it just means what they don't buy today they are going to expend extra effort to get tomorrow, the boycott has zero impact. Boycotts only matter when the lack of spending has both a noticeable impact and a permanent one. If I boycott McDonalds this week, I'm not buying two lunches a day next week. That money is permanently lost. If I boycott Kabam this month and then I whale out next month to catch up, that's a meaningless gesture.

Exactly. They pretend that their boycott means something but it really doesn't. While them not spending likely with show a little bit on the sales graph, it's likely to not have any effect overall on sales. I'm willing to bet Netmarble is still profitable due to all their other properties and mcoc. They just don't have enough people invested in the boycott.

    It isn’t July 4th yet..

Maybe their “boycott” ends on July 3rd. 🤷🏻‍♂️
