Magneto - Heavy Attack "Ripple" animation missing

Since the patch I have been loving the new Mags like most everyone else but I noticed in others gameplay videos there is a ripple effect when charging his heavy that I don't seem to get on my device (Android/OnePlus 6). Does anyone else not get this ripple effect animation when charging his heavy?

    No that's not it. I've been building the prowess to max, getting those big hits but I just don't get that circular distortion wave/ripple that I've been seeing in other people's gameplay videos. I think it to visually indicate that you have charged long enough.

    I don’t look for the ripple effect for the prowess cue. There’s a sound effect that I listen for. I find the sound effect far more reliable, and it lets my eyes focus on the stun timer/prowess amount.

    not sure exactly what op talking about, but it's probably this. even though many android phones/devices can handle those extra animations, they have to "design" them around all phones, so they remove some animations for android
