I spend a little on ceratain stuff. I want to buy these, but I haven't. Still too expensive imo. And I'm fine with that. Make it a 25% selector and I'd probably cave in and buy it.

To the guys crying about t5cc selectors being rare.... they are. But everything in this game has a price, what's the problem? It has always been that way and it will not change

People's Financial accords are still suffering from the pandemic - Kabam just need to Take that Acknowledgement Somewhat further into account
Bruh, kabam need money too, beside quarantine is like big chance for moblie game economy because ppl will stay home and play their game so does the offer in their game

Here is a direct quote from Kabam Miike from last week
“Selectors are very rare items, and will not be available in abundance very quickly. I wouldn’t expect them in content very often for at least a year.”
My only question is if they are too rare to put in content why are they so abundant in purchases? There was a 10% selector available to buy last week and there are two 10% selectors available today. Items that are super rare in content should be super rare to buy...

He was talking about T5cc selectors directly. I don't remember there being any T5CC selectors last week to buy.

They don't come around often and Miike was talking about selectors in content only, not offers. It took forever for other selectors to come around and now we're finally at a point that they are in the Sigil.
You may have missed it but there was a 10% t5cc selector available for the same price as today last week. And I am not against in game purchases, I think the sigil is the perfect micro transaction. It gives players units, cheaper featured crystals, cheaper crystals, and some items for a fee. It’s not anything a F2P can’t overcome but gives paying players an advantage. But I think selling items that are not even available in game of available in super low quantities is game breaking. It makes it so anyone not spending $200-400 can’t even come close to competing
Paying players will always have the advantage. F2P players shouldn't try and compare themselves. You'll never be able to compete with anyone that pays. Kabam has to keep the game running and they need revenue to do that. They have bills and people to pay. F2P should thank the P2P players and F2P don't bring much to the tablet

So because people lost jobs the offers should be unit or give it to them for free ? You already said you wouldn't buy anyway.

Just take it as a slight peer to other in-game perceptions

Loool F2P don’t bring much to the table?? You know the game would die without F2P right? I would guess about 80% of players are F2P and without those players, the game would 100% die.
    Reasons:
    1. Significantly less players would mean way less new players are coming in. This would make it so no new spenders are coming in
    2. If it’s just people competing on who can spend the most, they will get bored and eventually quit. Paired together with less players coming in, the game would be dead.

Just FYI, I am nowhere close to F2P but I know how important they are to the game.

    Everyone please buy the offer...
The money collected from this offer will be used to upgrade their old servers.
The constant connection error in the game will vanish in an instant.

Damn they should have mentioned that... about to go all out on these offers in that case 😂

With all due respect to all participants - I never thought Tier 5 class catalyst fragments were so Controversial...

It's so hard to agree with one dynamic or another - Those that are Obtained by Caviler have a 1/6 chance at being what you want always!

I Also think the main Acknowledgement is that Kabam either should increase the quantities of all Tier 5 class catalyst fragments or provide selectors with increased availability for every player in this game.

Even though it's not currently Truly Acknowledged for all players I think selectors are the way to go in the future - The RNG dynamic in Fragment Crystals have a very notable chance at always failing players Necessary Desires

Even though other fragments may be useful that's a 83.3°% Chance to Fail you every time if you are trying to target a specific class!

I think that is what Players Hugely Regard for Kabam to Acknowledge and 'No Crystal Should be a disheartening experience' am I wrong?

But that isn't fragment crystals I guess

Don't get me wrong untargted fragments may be harmful but they are still useful

On Monday of last week there was a deal for a 10% t5cc selector. A “rare” item.

Kabam Has Acknowledged That RNG Is A Fundamental Part Of The Game That Players Must Come To Terms With, And That Randomness Should Be Moderated In Some Cases. But At The Highest Tier Reward Levels It Is Unlikely To Go Away Any Time Soon.

It Is ImPossible To Make No Crystal Be Disheartening Because Too Many Players Have UnRealistic And Ever Increasing Expectations.
Why capitalize every word, and if it’s a fundamental part of the game, how come people who don’t spend get the short end of the stick when p2p players buy selectors?

People who don't spend are able to play with, and compete alongside, other Players. What they aren't entitled to is everything that people who pay get. That's the whole point of making Offers. No one would buy them if they contained things people got all the time. Certainly only people who lacked any patience to wait and accumulate. People are spending for access to what others can't get for free. Even the most fundamental definition is this, whether the Items are rare or not. I don't know where this competition originated with P2P/F2P, but it's a losing one. It's impossible to have everything that paying Players have.

I understand that- I’m not fully f2p but I rarely spend. What I don’t like is when Mods say that an item is very rare, and sell 3 of them in the span of a week. I’d have been okay if Kabam Miike would have said that the items weren’t going to appear in content For a long time. But there is a difference.

They're still rare if they're sold. Even Offers such as this have a price, and a limit to what they can give. They're in the process of introducing more but just like many other things that were added, there will still be limits, and the first place we will see increased availability is for purchase. That's just smart business.

This game is heading toward its six-year anniversary — SIX YEARS — and people are still complaining about cash offers?

Over the last seven months, Kabam has buffed the Magnetos, generated a Variant they had zero plans to make, revamped Act 7 for a new Beta, made adjustments to Act 6, and improved user interfaces, in addition to the summer boss rushes, etc.

Do people think the Magical Content Fairy delivers that content to your phone?

Kabam can’t keep the doors open on F2P “engagement”

Brooooo. They’re a for profit company. They’ve made so many changes for us lately, and the game is actually looking like it’s going in a solid direction. Let them make some money to keep it all rolling without getting lambasted.

Why? That's the price you pay for being F2P.

    1. To see who's actually reading the thread, and who's just skimming for things to respond to.

    2. The people who don't spend end up at a disadvantage to those who do spend, because if it was the other way around no one would spend. You have to incentivize spending, you don't have to incentivize not spending.

    3. No one pays to play. Playing is free. Spending gets you to the exact same place playing for free gets you to, just faster. People pay to not wait. The game monetizes impatience.
Yep all Good, However Kabam have done many things to put the free to play players on Jeopardy - Apparently ever since the release of Act 6 - I only Wish to Lead them away from this undesirable direction - Also they have done some things to relieve themselves but one could say 6 Star Meta Transition has somewhat harmed the game
  • DarkSoulDLXDarkSoulDLX Member Posts: 675 ★★★
The problems incited with other Rarities were alot smaller than that of 6 stars - Kabam are not even ascertained that we are even in a 6 star Meta Whilst the Mainstream player Base are Endued with the achievement and focus on 6 star rank 3 Champions - If we are not in a 6 star Meta in the Least we would not even have access to 6 star rank 2 champs

I don’t have a problem with T5CC being bought - it’s the way it works but the selectors supposedly being this big reward for hard content/special events.

    Act 6 completion - 25%
    Omega boss rush - 10%

That’s the only content that they’ve been in, yet despite that we’re seeing 10% selectors being thrown around like candy.
