Same boss fight for the legendary mutant treasure island

I’ve been trying to do the mutant treasure island for a while now, and I’ve beaten it once, but now when ever I try and do it when I get to the boss, it is always iceman. I was wondering if it’s a bug or an in game feature because if it is an in game feature I think it is a really bad one.

    You have to beat the boss for it to reset. Try quitting out and going straight down the middle so you don't have to deal with a path. Build your whole team around the Iceman boss. If you still can't beat him, you probably shouldn't be in the difficulty you're trying.

    I can beat him, I just don’t want to spend 200 units on him.

    I mean your options are fairly limited then. Beat him to “reset” the boss for next time you go in (and in your case maybe also pray you don’t get him again) or stop trying.

    corvus, best counter, but ghost, ht, mephesto, colossus, warlock, sabertooth, and emma should all make the fight fairly easy, just stack your roster with as many of them as you have.

    It does seem very random. I had 2 Icemen to start. I've had I think 3 or 4 Weapon Xs in a row. There was a champion or two in between.

    Like others have said, there are certainly counters. If you don't have an immune champ like the ones listed, maybe one with some strong regeneration will do. Someone suggested dropping a pic or two of your roster in here and the collective community can find you a way around the coldsnap.

    Oh that's easy! Iceman won't take damage fro.... oh... wait... KABAAAAAAMMM!!! Seriously though, Sabertooth will work even though it might take a little while. Other than that, just chuck your top champs at him. But what difficulty are you doing? You may need to drop down.

    I need to do legendary. Once I finish this I will be able to get my first 6* so I really don’t have interest in dropping down

    CAIW won't work. He only shrugs off Debuffs if he already has a kinetic charge and he starts with Coldsnap.

    For people that see this in the future and need advice on iceman: use heimdal with the Thor synergy and cap iw

    I wouldn’t consider that as being able to “beat him”. And if Iceman was hard, there are worse potential bosses than that.

    When you did manage to beat him, did you actually go through a path and claim your 6* shards ? Or did you just go center and we’re hoping to get a different boss next time for when you actually attempt for the shards ?

    Dont take this the wrong way, but that is a slim roster to be doing legendary.

    I don’t take it the wrong way. I completely agree. I’m just able to do most paths.
