Nerf = intentionally changed Bug = oppz, made a mistake and will fix it.
It's been stated that they're working on a fix. If it was in fact a nerf, why would they be working on a fix? It's specifically stated that it is in fact a bug. So no, it wasn't "deliberately" taken away. While unfortunate and an inconvenience, not the end of the world. Ghost will be returned to her usual state as soon as they have a fix. Until then, just gotta be patient. It's a rarity one actually wants to do extra work, and I would wager this is one of those cases where they didn't want this to happen, yet... here we are.
I think it's a bug too, the description says that and the patch note said something completely unrelated to the current bug but might have been the cause. The change was that the phasing wasn't a purify anymore but rather just a shrug off ability, but the conversion was still there. If you think about it it's a very small benefit from Ghost but then the bug came out

Those are passives, ghost just converter damage debuffs.
Just weird that I have fought Iceman with ghost hundreds of times and I’ve never seen that interaction. I can’t imagine I’ve never been hit, I’m not that good.

I'm not really sure what the issue is. the frostbites killed you. they are passive, not debuffs. therefore, ghost will not convert them to passive furies
When removing a debuff, Ghost isn't gaining passive fury anymore
Actually the ghost’s phase abilities write there as “CONVERT” not removed the debuff as kabam said that may lead them to make phase behave like a purify. Convert mean, you must have something to convert into something, but purify its not working like that, purify after you removed something then you gain nothing!

I just have never seen that interaction with ghost. Either I kill him too quickly before it expires or I’ve never been hit by the sp1 I guess.

I used her regularly for the caltrops path, but now I've gotta change my plans...
When removing a debuff, Ghost isn't gaining passive fury anymore
Would the fix include Sasquatch's rupture ? Prior to the new update Ghost wasnt able to phase the rupture neithet convert them to passive furies.
