Sharing a very similar experience in 5* basic arena - after 30 rounds with lowest team being three 3/45 5*s, EVERY match in the infinite streak has been against teams of 5/65 5* or 2/35 6* enemies, so minimum PI of 40K. Note that I said every, not most or majority - this just doesn't seem like the intended effect?

Hoping Kabam goes back to check their coding as it feels like something is awry

This change is a joke. Previously i used almost all my champions and spent 1h30, now i didn't even use all the champions due to always come deathmatches and spent more than 2h to complete the round

Yeah currently fairly deep into my r3 5 stars and I’m facing minimum 2x r5 and one r4 5*z this is doubling the number of bars of power it normally takes to complete an arena match. Can’t imagine what it’s like without the suicide masteries.

No, I'm just trying to prove my point, that it does NOT help new players, nor am I a new player. I've gotten Featured 4 and 5 stars in the Arena. I don't see where this helps new players at all. That's the point of my post.

É um aborrecimento que nós não precisavamos passar. Já é chato ter que fazer arena para poder ter recursos sem ter que usar dinheiro vivo, agora fazem isso.

Wait. What’s wrong with the matches? I did arena so much quicker this time arena. The change is great. Even faced better champs and managed to get more points out of it. I don’t see what’s wrong with this. It’s even faster cuz they are throwing specials.

Yep, not happy. Arena grinders know how to avoid death rounds. This was never an issue for us. I would love to have arenas return to how they were

Exactly what I'm talking about. Why would Rank 3, 5 Stars, be facing Rank 5, 5 Stars? Even the 5 Star Featured did not require this. Why make it annoying to where you have to do way more matches to run your 5 stars? Do you think this is going to improve the game? I get why these changes are made, to pad your pockets, it's just like before Summoner Appreciation Calendar, the game was in a stale state. I really wonder if Kabam Miike actually plays these fights and deems it "Fair" I highly doubt it, programming a game, and actually playing a game, are two different things. Anyone can program it for the sake of money. But I still think your game is far better than Netherrealm's games that barely ever update. Just some thoughts.

Arena is worse! The matchups after 15 are stupid. Just this morning a team of R4 5* would face R4 5* after 20. Now my R4 5* are facing R3 6* and not exactly easy to bait specials. Fights are much much longer. This is not an improvement.

You must either
1) Have a roster full of 5/65 5 Stars
2) Have a roster full of 2/35 6 Stars

Or you don't run anyone below Rank 3 Level 45, Rank 5 Level 50 4* to notice what I'm talking about. Why don't you run a match with either scenario before you post? Yes, you get more points, that's not the problem, I did too.

You prolly didn’t get passed the 20+ streak. It also might be that you’re doing the easier arenas

Areana’s are a mess. Ive have about 90k arena fight wins and been doing them every dat for a year now and this is a big steo back
The ai is everywhere
“Death matches” way more prevalent, not lost a streak in 3 months and had to restart 3 times, aggressive ai that ihas 3 times your pi every 5 or 6 matches

I only run the featured 4 and 5 star arena. I don’t do anything past the first 2 milestones for the easier arenas. I’m well beyond that 20 streak marker. And no I don’t have a roster full or 5/65s or 2/35s. I have a good roster and understand how to fight champions and know their abilities. If you see those high PI matches they should be easier than the lower ones cuz it means they are running suicides. Use that against them. Easy. I have 1 rank 3, like 6 rank 2s maybe 7. And 16 rank 5s.

I notice a change in arena too. But to post this doesn’t really say anything...how suppose to know what match you on?

As evidenced by the other posts on this topic, the arena matchmaking logic is wildly broken for infinite streaks. Teams of 5* R4 and R3 are all triggering death matches at twice your PI every time.

The arena logic worked fine yesterday so whatever update was rolled out with today’s Red Goblin arena is clearly broken. Please do all the grinders a favor and fix this ASAP. Thanks!

You're clearly missing the point of the game - you're not meant to have fun, you're meant to spend as much time and money as possible so Kabam can keep putting out these lazy, untested, bugged updates and then punish the players for their mistakes.

I am also having issues with arena and its crazy match up. I stopped grinding as maybe kabam going to fix this problem

The ai throw specials way more than they used to. These death matches arent that big of a deal if youre a semi decent player.
