For context, I'm in the process of doing 5.4 (going for Cavalier) and is yet to do any variants.

    Sentinel.

    He will clear V2 and V3 for you, he can get you Cavalier, he can be used in tricky nodes in Act 6. Extremely solid choice.

    Alternatively, Sunspot.

    Thanks for the comments! Went with Sunspot and will r4 Sentinel after completing 5.4

    Sunspot, that perfect block and SP2 damage (even the opponent is blocking) is amazing. He can clear all the lanes single handedly in uncollected and other quest.

    Sentinel would be my choice. Dude’s a cheat code for V3 which is on the same level of 6.1 with an R4 Sentinel.

    Also poison immune with a heal block on his sp1 which is a big help for Crossbones so you’re probably going to want to get him up anyway.
