Taskmaster is unironically the best Havok counter. He gets 10 debuffs, only one detonates, then he has willpower running for the rest of the fight. The only node that can make TM not a perfect counter is heal reversal, but even then, if you move fast enough you become immune to even that.

Now, if we were talking the best character who can also bypass Havok, maybe Warlock or Colossus. But in terms of the best at countering Havok, TM is the best.

I suppose no one said TM cuz they don't know how Havok Vs TM works.

Very simple, TM gains debuff immunity after 10 of ANY debuffs so if there are no other debuffs that fight then TM will gain the 10 plasma charges but NEVER gain the last 11 for it to explode.

Beyond that, since the more debuffs TM or his opponent has, his special attacks gain more damage and a free 10 debuffs means VERY good damage on all his specials and more so if it's his current exploit weakness.

This also works on any extra node Havok may have like Crumbling armor as it'll just give TM debuff immunity faster.

Tl;dr Havok's plasma charges never explode on TM due to TMs debuff immunity after 10 and it fuels TMs damage.

That is not an act 6 boss lol, its a mini in 6.2.2, but good showcase nonetheless.

It has to be Taskmaster. The only one who doesn't rely on Armor Up and hence bypasses Havok on a lot of bs such as buffet, fisticuffs etc.

I have r5 / r2 Warlock, G2099 and Hulkbuster...and for me it's hands down Guardian.

He can generate additional armor ups at will (heavy) and can perfect block projectiles. Drops really juiced Havoks (40k+ PI) with about 98% health remaining.
