That's pretty sick and depending on his abilities he could have a timer which gives like a bad and a good present depending on what you do like
--> If you are hitting him while the timer ended then you get a bad present like (a debuff or unavoidable damage)
--> If you are not hitting but blocking when the timer ends then something like (a temporary little damage up fury or a buff/something like that (this could include a new buff which could be later used on in the fight to not get hit by the unavoidable damage as mentioned above))

All in all, would be pretty sick ngl
