It's my personal opinion
All other classes aren't that good as in comparison to mutant class.
A skilled player can complete act6 by using mutants only
1. Omega sunspot colossus for raw damage
2.Emma and prof x for evade and miss counter
3. Mags for robots and metal
4. Gambit new buffed for reverse healing
5. Archangel for heal block and AAR reduction
6. Last but not the least the tons of immunities
7. Emma and iceman for sp3 tanking
Mutant class dominates

    yes which so many people have access to him right? Not a viable option since he is not accessible by 99.5% of the community.

    Yea, you can even bring 3-4 mutants plus a counter of a different class in a quest and you're good to go.

    Looking at my roster, I actually don't use many mutants besides Colossus and AA. Although I do agree they're probably the strongest class if you look at it as an individual class-based measurement.

    Still though, it's a bonus that some might find valuable
    Also there's a path (or two?) on this in Act 6, so still a good counter if you don't have the skill
