Poke not sending notification

As stated in the title, the new Poke feature doesn't send notifications while not in game. This happens not only to me, but to some other alliance members too. Is it possible that this is an Android related issue?

I am using a Samsung Galaxy s10 plus, strictly on WIFI.

    Yes, everything is turned on and I get notifications for daily crystals and energy and everything else. Have even tried a little testing to check if Game Launcher is the culprit, by disabling it and getting a poke, but still no luck
