When is the last day we have to be in an alliance before gifting starts? I've heard a couple of dates but im really not sure

    Technically, probably all the way up until the time that the Gifting Event actually starts.

    Although the closer you leave it until such a date, the shorter amount of time there will be (starting 14 days after joining, until the remainder of the 14 day Event) that you will have to actually get in all your Gifting.

    As well as probably missing out on your “future” teammates from gifting TO YOU because you aren’t in the alliance yet as others start to their own gifting (most likely to just others in their alliance).
