Unpopular opinion:Act 6 exploration is fun.

Now before you go to hit the disagree button, hear me out.

Now you might be thinking, what the hell is wrong with this dude, saying act 6 exploration is fun. Well it is fun,in a way. I explored act 6 over the summer. Started in April and ended in September. I took it really slow and I actually had a whole lot of fun exploring the majority of act 6.

Now you might be thinking that I have a super stacked roster and that’s why it was easy for me. My roster was moderately stacked when I was finishing my act 6 exploration. I had between 15-20 R5/R2 champs. I had even less champs than that at R4 because most of the champs that I take up to R4 are the ones that I intend to R5. So you don’t need a super stacked roster to explore act 6.

Now I will say that the exploration wasn’t jolly all the time. I don’t have a good bleeder and I also didn’t have aegon or Corvus and that’s why the do you bleed lane in 6.2.6 was an absolute pain. I had to endure 4 fights each with 600+ hits. It was a real slog. Also all of 6.2.5 is just plain annoying and just makes you rage. This quest is the single most hardest quest in the game and this is where I had to use a lot of units. My cosmic roster sucked then and still sucks(only have venom and medusa at R5,took Ronan to R5 for the memes) and so the cosmic class gate cost me about 500 units. So that quest absolutely sucks but the rest is good.

Now there are a few pain points in every chapter like the aspect of evolution lane in IMIW quest in 6.3 and basically the entirety of 6.4.5 is annoying too. But the rest is fun. I had so much fun overcoming all the obstacles and thinking about alternate options and such. One of my best moments was when I found about the synergy between ultron and warlock that gives champs a fury buff if they receive a debuff they are immune to. I went into 6.2.2 and soloed sinister 5 times and explored that quest itemless. And this was the pre nerf sinister too.

Now I did explore act 6 after kabam reduced the attack values but before they nerfed the individual fights and I am very happy that I did. Act 6 is much easier now due to the reduced attack.

I had basically the same experience: 6.2.5 and parts of 6.2.6 were pretty infuriating, but I enjoyed most everything else. It was challenging at times, but far from impossible, so overcoming it felt worthwhile and satisfying (and yeah, this is after all the nerfs were in place). Not to mention that I had an absolute blast exploring 6.4.6, the grandmaster fight is just too much fun

I just finished 6.2 on my alt... and I still love the content. My only real gripe is the number of paths.

The energy requirement is just too much for me.

You have literally as much time as you want to do it though.

Just started act 6 on my alt. Gonna be ages before I finish it (roster is basically a 2018 roster as I haven't touched it since really) . Should be fun trying to work through it with incredibly minimal options especially compared to my main

Can corvus get charges on the path? I don't have a Warlock, but I do have a Corvus.

Also, I assume I'd need to turn on suicides?

Scarlet witch? Pretty sure he's gonna get ruined by the poison 😂. Or wait...I assume you could just like get her down to 1% health with another champ, then come in with corvus 🤔.

Seems like a good strat tbh.

I used KM with void synergy ..
I have a 6*...but he's unawakened, so not sure if that would be a problem.

Tbh, I'm continually baffled that this particular fight was left out of the nerfs...

It won't be a problem as long as you don't hit that sp3 :D

1 bleed actually heals you if you have willpower ... Blade can do it easily if you just keep high power and don't do sp2

@Kill_Grey I used warlock. The bleeds dont do too much damage si you can burst through it with nick fury too.

With warlock you wont be able to block much due to soft guard but I found a very interesting fact that you can heavy counter gwenpool's sp1 with warnock's heavy. So I just did that for the rest if the fight. Took me 2 or 3 revives.

Interesting...I think I'll just stick to the "do you block" strategy with corvus either way :D

There's generational differences with delayed gratification. People who want things now hate it, etc. Those who have learned to slowly build rosters, complete appropriate content in chunks, etc. have a greater appreciation for it.

Big fax, everyone still hates Act 6 and calls it a cash grab (previously including myself), but then I decided to just take the content at my own pace and learn to practice and run through quests with minimal item usage and it's extremely fun for me. I almost guarantee that people will begin to come around to liking Act 6 more and more

10 paths per chapter in 6.2 is absurd, the opposite of enjoyable.

The irony is that most if not all of the disagrees on this thread are from people who refuse to give exploration a shot in the first place, simply because 1 quest out of the whole thing sucks
