To stop as say "Nope, didn't want to go that way" and then have the option to back up... oh good times!
It’s restricted to an extent. So you may not be able to back out of a path when you really need to.
It should have been undo in the truest, simplest sense. You undo and the line goes back to normal or as if it hadn’t been travelled on and you get your energy used back. Simple.
