Cavalier nexus or thronebreaker crystals

What do you guys think about having a new type of crystals specially for thronebreakers. Like a cavalier nexus crystal or a new thronebreaker crystal that has only 5 or 6 stars.
Main reasons are 3 or 4 stars are not even needed and at thronebreaker we have most of them. Also the champions are above 200 or so so there is still a huge pool to pull out a desired champion.
Let me know what you guys think.

Making it a nexus won't change the drop rates per rarity

I don't understand how won't a nexus not change the rarity? You might still have a 2 more choices to choose one and might even get a class option right? It's still better atleast we have a small control on what we can choose.

It would technically give you a better chance at getting say 1 5* out of 2 3*s, but the drop rates are still the same, so you have the same amount of chance to pull multiple 3*s

Nexus crystals are always the choice between champs of the same rarity
I don't think so there are premium nexus crystals too that give you a chance at a 4syar and other stars as well. And in the same cruel choice you'll get other star rarity as well.

No they're not. Just had a nexus PHC from the Odin SE and had two 2* and a 3* as my choices

If there was a TB crystal that only contained five and six star champs the game would be broken to the point of no return.

nexus PHC work the same as regular PHC - chance to get 2*, 3* or 4*. the only difference is that when it decides which star you get, it then allows you to pick 3 seperate champions of that star rating.

We need a TB crystal that does not have three stars in there. IMO if Kabam made one it would maybe give us 5 percent drop rate on 6 stars, and 25 percent on 5 stars, but I wouldn't expect it to be much better than that.

Another thought is that a TB crystal would give different rewards for dupes, like small amounts of T5b basic or cc. I'm TB, and my main issue isn't getting more champs, it's getting more resources for all of the champs I want to rank up.

I believe the way the nexus PHC works is that it rolls the odds 3 times to generate the 3 champions available. I don't believe it chooses the star level first, then chooses the champions in that star level only. So theoretically your choices could be a 2* champ, a 3* champ, and a 4* champ as options. It's not likely, but it's definitely possible

I'll believe it when I see it
Didn't take a screenshot because it was the choice of 3 max sig crystals (2 2* and a 3*) but that's what I got. I'm sure someone else out there has had that happen too

I'm thronebreaker and just don't see a need to change up the crystals we have today. Are 3* drops annoying, YES. But they also serve a valuable purpose.

6* shards are more prevelant ever, however the relative rarity is still an important part of the game. If they just zapped every 6* champ into your account today a fair degree of the FUN of this game would be lost forever.

As @Raichu626 says, there is a difference between Focus Crystals, which give you 3 options of the same rarity, and Nexus Crystals, which can have differing rarities. Nexus Cavs would be a big step up without going the full jump to a new Thronebreaker Crystal type. To me, they would be a welcomed improvement.

There's no chance a TB crystal would be just 5 and 6* champs. At most it'll be 3*'s removed.

Nexus crystal is not limited to one star rating for those discussing it. The focus crystals that they offer from time to time only offer one rarity of champ. That’s what everyone is thinking of

Adding such a crystal is not a problem. However, the value of such a crystal would be so high you wouldn't be getting many of them. In fact, you'd probably end up getting fewer 5* and 6* champs than you would be getting from Cavalier crystals because their value would rise to the point where you'd get the same relative amounts of direct drops of 5* and 6* champs, but you'd lose the shard value of all lower drops.

So the question is do you want a lot of crystals with a small chance at 5* or 6* champs, or do you want a crystal with a guaranteed chance at 5* or 6* that you get only one of only once in a great while. Because it doesn't matter if you think 3* and 4* champs are "not relevant" what matters is the value of the rewards. You're not going to suddenly get a hundred times more value by changing the configuration of crystals and expecting to still get the same large numbers of them. This would be like asking for your change in tens rather than ones but still expecting the same number of bills to get more money.

3* and 4* champs are in those crystals because they aren't needed. That's kind of the point. It's a gamble. Even as new players no one opens PHCs because they want to grow their 2* and 3* rosters.

3* champs shouldn’t be in these crystals. 4* sure even though they are useless for thronebreakers. Even 5* champs don’t have much use except for the 1 or 2 champs that someone hasn’t been able to pull.

Drop rates should be about 5% or so to pull a 6* champ and 1% chance to pull the featured 6*. The 5* drop rate should be about 25%. You shouldn’t have to spend $600+ USD just to pull one 6* champ. And chances are that champ won’t even be a good champ to help your roster.
