Aegon at 999 or Quake?

Me and another forum member were debating on discord, and I was vouching for Aegon. Maybe the less popular opinion, but i feel like his speed/damage makes up for needing to hit the opponent.

I was interested to hear other opinions, and maybe try to react to opinions that you disagree with “Lol” to reduce the amount of disagrees people who dont say Quake get.

Aegon, because unblockable, No opponent AA, and 30k crits are better than not hitting the opponent.
Aegon at 999 combo is easily the best champ in the game IMO

I personally do not think there is a definitive answer here, it really depends on the situation of course aegon will be much faster but hes limited to daar, while quakes aar is all aar, so ægon will be generally faster and more useful, unless you need a quake for something certain like micro reflect antman, as glancing overrides aar, but no contact no problem.

Aegon at 999 is better than all champions in the game. His AAR, unblockable, critical hits on basically all hits, fury damage, combo shield... the list goes on and on. Aegon is king.

I would take 999 combo Aegon for majority of the matches over Quake. Unless there is a node such as 200% combat rate or micro reflect as already mentioned, Aegon finishes matches easier and faster than quake.

I love Quake but it's Ægon at 999, which is honestly one of the most satisfying experiences in this game.

As said before it depends.
In most situations aegon will be better.

However there are some of nodes and champions where quake will be best.
For example energize, all or nothing, mephisto, doom, prey on the weak, force of will +nodes that punish hitting or contacting the opponent...

And that's the good part in the game, there isn't one champion which is the best for all content.
It varies from fight to fight

It isnt a fair comparison to make because in typical story mode quests you wont even be able to ramp him to 999. The problem with Aegon is that he may be difficult to bring to a lot of paths to ramp on , to begin with
