The State of MCOC

So Kabam wants to create sth to tease the Big Whales to open their wallet——introduction to 6R4 rank-up materials, even though they have yet to launch a MCOC content that really requires 6R3 champs to deal with....
I believe there’re quite a few issues Kabam need to think about at this moment, and they need to prioritize these issues....
I guess the most important issue: keep getting profits from MCOC (at least in a short period of time)——Big Whales of this game are their target——release new materials to let them spend;
Then I guess the second most important issue: keep this game attractive——new players could leave anytime since they have yet to put much efforts and investment on this game——End-Game players are their target——release new endgame challenges to keep their interests;
Then I guess the third most important issue: let the new players be stick to this game——so Kabam made the contents before Act 6 much easier comparing with previous years by making 5*champs and rank-up resources more available (if it’s too early for these new players to feel “frustrated” during cleaning the early contents, these players will just leave this game)
Then I believe the fourth most important issue: keep touching the potential players——so they keep advertising this game, especially if there is a Marvel movie about to come (#Marvel is the No.1 advertising feature to keep this game alive)
Practically, I believe Kabam is tackling all these issues at the same time, but in terms of the progression, they’re still prioritizing them. That’s why you won’t see them come out at the same time.
Just my point of view. welcome any disagreement
They told us that S.o.P wasn't going to be released because of how busy last summer was. Hopefully we'll see it this summer. Hope it's not too hard for you. Don't want to see another summoner Showdown incident.
I don't think the game is in a dire state. I also don't think you're one that can represent what it means to have R3's for content. You have 2 and barely that. 7.2 will be here either next month or July. They said they'll release them about 6 months apart. There weren't major issues during the beta so not a huge amount to go back and redo unless the boss fight was terrible. This game is going on it's 7th year and I've been here for all of them. We see these lull's from time to time. There's only so much that the devs can do at a time.
On top of all that, it's incredibly hard to make this community happy. I'd be reserved about releasing content given this communities reaction to everything that's ever been released. It's too hard and rewards aren't worth it. It's to easy and rewards aren't worth it. It's too boring and rewards aren't worth it. I don't know how Kabam can ever win honestly.
We need a new op champ.
So SOP couldn't be released, fine. Then why didn't we get any challenging content from Summer of 2020 till now? It's nearly May 2021. It didn't have to be titled Summer of Pain, it could've been titled anything.
It's hard to make the community happy when no new, challenging content has been released for over a year. It's hard to make the community happy when all of 2021's champions bar one (if even) have generated any hype or use. It's hard to make the community happy when Alliance War has been unchanged and stale for far too long now.
Open your eyes up and stop being so narrow minded.
Content is planned out so if they didn't do it last summer, maybe they want to do it this summer instead. AW hasn't gone in changed. They updated the map and rewards within the past year. They've changed global nodes several times and continue to make global node adjustments. What makes AW "stale" is that one global becomes meta and we see the same defenders every war. 10 out 12 wars last season I fought Dragon Man on Hazzard shift on boss island. What they need to do is not let people pick global nodes and it's random every war. That's a start.
