Does that mean I think we should remove them from the game? No. I think they could become a lot more accessible to people like me, but I see no need to change the fundamental structure of the game for that to occur.
Just put more of it in. Problem solved.
Resource management is a part of the game. There's always going to be something that we run out of. It's inevitable, and it's shifted over time. That limiting Resource is what paces growth overall in the game. Without it, there is no way the game could keep up with the progress. Lower Players would never grow, higher Players would never have anything to work towards, and middle Players would be in limbo. The Devs wouldn't be able to keep up with the content either.
As long as people choose to only focus on the highest Rarities, they're going to run out of Resources too fast.
At this point in the game, T2A, T5B, and T5CC should be the main focus/bottlenecks. Without those, you only get to 5r3/4r5 -- what's that in the current meta? Not much, lol.
Yes, that's a joke. I'm making my joke face now.
PS: I am hoping someone will say remove the game, no stress at all.
ISO just fills a need that leveling itself created. The only way to magically erase ISO from the game with a time machine is to somehow erase the notion of leveling from the game developers mind. And if you somehow did that, they would have redirected that effort somewhere else. Instead of needing ISO to level and cats to rank up, we'd probably have to do a lot more rank ups instead, and chase more varieties of catalysts to do so.
The developers don't decide to make ISO and cats, step back, and then whatever effort that puts on the players, that's it. The effort we expend in the game has all been engineered into the game. It would be just as hard to fully max out champions if ISO didn't exist. That effort would just have been added by the devs in some other way. That's their actual job.
