So the new arena is now online. How does the community feel about this? Is this a step forward from the previous version or its the opposite? Your views in comments pls.

Sorry but as a mid level player these changes screwed me over, 5.5 million used to be enough for 270 units and a 3 star featured in the 2 4 star arenas, now it is 6.25 million and a whole lot less units. If you have a full roster of 6 stars you are fine but even 5 stars now feel like a drop in a very large empty bucket when it comes to reaching the top milestones

This is a perfect case of, "if it ain't broke don't fix it"! KABAM, what were you thinking, its not balanced and it seems as if its meant for people with large rosters of maxed out 5 star and 6 stars, THE KEY LINE HERE BEING, "MAXED OUT 5* AND 6*! I for one will definitly not be playing Arena anymore! Nothing for those somewhere in the middle of beginner and Throne Breaker!

I'm just a cav casual player. I did arena this morning and picked up a gm crystal and like 40 units. Easily got the arena wins event done.

What is mid level? I'm hardly a grinder and have 26 6* ? I mean should wegear the whole arena for what the game was 3years ago when I started?

I’ve got 45 6*s, getting the new 4* from milestones is a nice change, but I’m doing arena for units, the old system let me grind 270-400 units just casually grinding in the evenings.
To get 200 units now I’d be looking at hitting the arena the moment it comes up, then again the moment I woke up for all 3 days, to come close to the 400 unit mark id need to be ensuring that I’m running my 5*s 3 times a day.
The problem is the subtle change to make unit grinding harder, not so much the availability of the 4* champs.

11 FIGHTS IN, DEATH MATCH (for me anyway on Hard difficulty and like twice my Champs) but somehow I'm supposed to maintain a winning streak and have to score over 6 million points for a new 3* feature Champion when I used to only need 640,000????

The simplest solution to this entire fudge-up is:
1. Keep the 6* Arenas, both Basic and Featured, with the 5* version of the champ as a rank reward and the 4* version as a milestone.
2. Put everything else back to how it was on Wednesday, with the exception of eliminating the 5* Featured arena.

Just one extra Arena added, but multitudes of players satisfied.

Milestones are spread out farther between each other and less rewards in each one so if you want the same rewards as before you actually need to grind more

The arena is good but I am not uncollected and I have only one atena that is summoner trials, I am interested on that but they cannot update AI like 3* or 4* shang chi in summoner trials, but why this kabam does that I don't know until now

I am a cavalier player. I have an account which is 13 months old and I have like 10 six star champs rn. This arena has left me shattered. I am feeling so sorry for myself for spending a hell lotta money on offers and crystal in a game which simply pleases the ones who have been playing this game since a long time (with diverse roster)

My advice is keep the six star arena. But bring back the old 4* and 5* arena for the intermediate level players. Or have some other kind of point system. If you keep drying units like this, the game will be like dead for 95% of the community.

And that wont be a good for the company and for the players who love playing this game. So please Kabam. Please do the needful ASAP.

I absolutely hate everything about the changes to arenas. The only changes that are any good at all is the changes to the summoner trails. In being able to use 4* and below. One change that could have made those changes better would been to make it at the top prize the 4 * nexus. Below that put in 3* nexus and even 2 rare crystals even in the milestones. Player would be all about getting those rare 2 stars. Having the 3,4 & 5star olde arenas. The way they were was way better for everyone. This may signal the end of this game. Don't be surprised if players just quit with the leave the game. I'm personally think about doing just that but I would hate to do that.

I have read all the above comments and I agree this will if not quickly reversed drive a very large amount of the community off the game does kabam only care about the end game players and whales.
These changes look to based on forcing players back to spending instead of progressing based off skill if you are not uncollected no new champions 3* or better unless you spend on units,revives and portions or playing the casino oh sorry buying crystals, however I am sorry if that offend the dev but the truth hurts and this is no conspiracy theory either but facts the rng run the game and the crystals.
The arena was the last place that most mid-level players can grow there rosters well the players with a full time job or a life but that's to this that's all now gone it is like kabam have just give most players the middle finger. So I say to the dev please come on and prove us all WRONG if you dare!!!!!!

Hmm, After a first run i say yes. I like it.
Cauze i can get relativly easy a 4* i want.
Basic Arena more so.

I am ftp, playing from the beginning.
I don't Grind for units. I do Arena for fun
For me, Getting a Champ i miss on my Team 100% for Sure is cool.

But i get that there have to me more Milestones or the exiting hat to be spiced up for grinders.

What i miss here is the oportunity to get for 6* shards. Or maybe i just missed where they went After the Update.

Don't throw rocks at me. But for casual, Arena its almost fine for me.

The more I play the new arena the more I don't like it. It's definitely not well thought.

So basically two 6* arena cross over so you have to choose one, unless you are Brian Grant who dedicated his life to Arena anyway.

Summoner Trial is not the easy grind field like 4* basic anymore and I will not touch it for a long time. 7 units for a milestone? Who will grind his ass off for 7 units?

Unit gain and bc is what I expect from Arena. This arena is a huge loss.

Damn ... Almost 600 people voted in this post ...and 81% dont dig the new arena... I hope kabam does something about this.

I haven't tried out the new updated arena yet, but judging from what I'm seeing it is something I am not going to enjoy. I'm not even uncollected yet, I'm at summoner level 38 and trying to get uncollected, plus I'm an F2P. I rely a lot on units for revives and health potions when I don't have enough. As such I rely heavily on arena and the units I get from there. So far I've saved up 4000+ units, but I know I'm going to have to start spending them soon and SO IF I DONT GET ENOUGH UNITS FROM ARENA HOW AM I GOING TO PROGRESS FAST?? YOUR NEW UPDATE ONLY HELPS PEOPLE WITH A GOOD 6* ROSTER AND NEGLECTS F2P PLAYERS AND THOSE WHO ONLY JUST GOT UNCOLLECTED AND BELOW. I really don't want to quit the game but if this doesn't go back to normal I won't be able to progress
