Hypothetical - Mr.Negative > Shang-Chi?

We are on a hypothetical ground here, but I have got a question that interests me:

Is Mr.N better than Shang-Chi? I often hear that utility > damage, and I feel like these two champs are a good balance: Shang-chi has insane damage and good utility, Mr.Negative has insane utility and good damage. So which one would you rather have?

Also again, please note this is hypothetical situation, based solely on ccp and champ spotlights.

    shang - insane damage insane utility
    negative - good damage insane utility

    infact, shang might be far more than insane for utility, since he can stunlock opponents indefinitely.

    I don't know anything about negative, but I don't find chi guy fun to play. He had good damage, that's true, but MN animation is a lot better imo, so I'd guess I would like him more, when I pull 6* a year or two later, if I'd still be playing the game

    I haven't seen or heard anything on Mr N that is close to Shang Tsungs infinite stun combo. Unlikely for him to be touched

    It looks like Shang is better but Mister Negative looks so much cooler so I want him more.
