Change to War season solo rewards?

I’ve noticed that the war season doesn’t start for some time, but the solo war rewards have launched.

Is this a way to get more people to do wars outside of the season, or just a mix up with the launch of the changes for the overall season rewards?

    28-Day SOLO War Points Event.
    Agree, they should cancel this one and restart it properly in 2 weeks when the new Season starts.
    Else, you’re almost forcing ppl to do some of these Off-season wars as well in order to hit top milestone.

    Another solution would be if Kabam just modified this current (inadvertent) Event's DURATION to last for 42 days instead of 28 days.

    That would extend it correctly out to the end of the upcoming Season, thus not needing to do any off-season wars in these next 2 weeks.
