Ghost does almost everything, you think it's fair for 2 champions to do almost everything, the kabam is still being good, as furies and cruelties were supposed to have a downward adjustment, mainly as passive furies.
Also, in any game as a service there's going to be balancing, and everyone who spends money is supposed to know that they could be spending money on things that will change in the future, either explicitly (via nerfs, balancing changes, etc) or implicitly (they may be great against the content today, but that's no guarantee they will be just as great against the content of tomorrow, new champs may explicitly be designed to counter them, and so on).
This isn't just something you should accept, this is something you're legally required to accept or else you're legally not entitled to play the game.
And no, you can't have all your resources back either. You earned rewards using those resources. You can't get them back without surrendering everything you earned from them, which is impractical to implement. That's the whole point to burning those resources: you can't just redeploy them elsewhere when something better comes along. If you allow people to do that every time the game changes, the game economy would be completely non-functional.
This game is in part a resource management game. And part of resource management is managing risk. If you choose to pile resources into the highest performing champions in the most competitive parts of the game, you take the risk that you won't be impacted by future game balancing decisions. Anyone who has played any online games with competitive elements knows this, and also knows you aren't just going to get refunds every time balancing occurs. This risk is part of the cost of competition. If this is new to you, well, now you know how these things go. Competitive games balance. They don't always compensate players for balancing changes. Most people just continue on. Some decide it is not for them. Those that think their experience is novel end up getting burned again when they think another game will be different. They are always wrong.

I'm not arguing that I should use quake and ghost everywhere, but if this is the precedent going forward to stop quake and ghost steamrolling, then it's just sad that it counters several of my favourite champions. I'm about to R3 SpiderGwen, but having slight second thoughts, because what if content usually has this true focus node on it? How useful is she gonna be if anytime there's unblockable specials she won't be able to evade.
I've just R3d Mr Negative and thrown 120 sigs into him, am I gonna get the full worth out of it because kabam think Quake is too powerful, why should Negative get countered because Kabam can't work out a way to stop quake and ghost without countering a bunch of other champs too?
But because it screws my guy stryfe over. Fortunately he’s still playable and rampable if I spam heavy, but it’s no where near as fun or quick.
I hope kabam counter quake and ghost in a different way, that doesn’t punish other champs who benefit a lot from miss and evade. Lazy design.
