SoP final challenge

So is the final challenge something seperate from the 9 weeks for SoP? We are at week 7 now so the 9th week finishes before August 18th, when the final challenge starts

I'm confused now, will the final boss challenge have separate rewards?

Week 9 will not last for 2 weeks. The final boss challenge is weeks 10 and 11
They specifically said week nine will be 2 weeks
No, go re-read the message they actually posted.

They SPECIFICALLY said week 9 is the last week for bonus objectives, and on the 18th (essentially week 10) there is a mini boss rush that will last for 2 weeks that is not linked in any way to the bonus objectives, but has its own separate rewards.

Don't just go off of memory on this stuff, actually go back and read what they wrote. It's incredibly clear.

They said after week 9 there will be another different gauntlet style challange which will last 2 weeks.

My guess is that we are at 27 points from the 9 weeks (2 weeks and 8 points missing at the moment) and the 10th week(s) will have something extra.

I don't see how they would do anything else but I'm open to surprise.

Can Cavs participate in the final week or is it restricted to TB only? I’m fine with either but I’m just curious

The news post says horrific highlights from the previous weeks, culminating in a boss that has haunted your dreams. I'd guess that we're set for a quest with maybe 5 of the previous fights and whoever this mystery boss is. Perhaps it'll be the Grandmaster or Collector. I'm going to go out on a limb and say there'll be separate rewards for this as I can't see the motive for completing it otherwise as we should be at max points before it arrives.

If it is 5 of the previous, I'd say that we'll get Rogue, Mysterio and maybe the Adaptoid out of the current 'lowlights' as they were the most roster specific.

I'd be interested to see what the team structure we're allowed is - I assume it'll be more than one champion at that stage.

It is possible. Given that the milestones are going to be fully clocked by the next 2 weeks’ quest, there should be a “week 10” quest with multiple fights and the final big bad at the end. If they don’t give additional rewards for this “week 10”, it’ll be pretty silly.

Just think about it, if we had all 9 weeks’ fights lined up back to back, with 3 slots to bring in the quest, who would you bring?

If I had iHulk, I would bring him. But I’ll settle for AA, CGR and Unitman for now.

If it’s gonna feature all 9 fights with only 3 slots, I’m definitely not going to do it. With 5 slots, maybe. But I think it will feature only 5 of the SoP bosses and one new final boss with only 3 slots available to us.

It does say “highlights” of previous weeks, so it does kinda sound like they won’t do all 9 fights. Like you said maybe just a handful then the big final boss

What confuses me is why the timer for the peak milestones seems to end with the extra week 10 event, as opposed to after week 9.
Maybe they’ll distribute both the boss rush rewards, and the 9 SoP fights rewards together? And what if they only distribute the rewards for the 9 fights only if we do the boss rush???
the second theory is just to scare people lol, sorry bout that. It’s not true, mostly

Guillotine 2099 and Doom assuming no retreat champion is boss 9.
Kind of don't want multiple champ slots though
  • altavistaaltavista Member Posts: 1,442 ★★★★
I also wonder if it will be one champion or a team - synergies would have drastically reduced the difficulty of some of these fights.
  • xNigxNig Member Posts: 7,330 ★★★★★
I think multiple champ lots is a given, as long as it’s more than 1 fight. Like what others mentioned, it’s possible that it’s 5 fights with 3 slots, or 9 fights with 5 slots.

Regardless, with a slot limitation, it’ll be harder than 1 slot 1 fight.

What if TB get only 1 objective each in next two weeks and than in the final 10th week they need to complete gauntlet type challenge for max milestone.

Yea multiple champs slots are a given but I feel like it'd take away from a lot of the challenge assuming objectives aren't still in play.

If it's meant to be the the last hurdle I wouldnt mind being limited to 1 and having to struggle through some of the fights with an unoptimal champ.

That will not happen, because then the boss rush which is supposed to be much harder than all the previous singular fights, will give the same amount of points as the previous fights. If they wanted to do something like this, they should’ve given 2 objectives for each fight not 3. The boss rush is practically confirmed to have separate rewards from the first 9 fights.

The final challenge will go live on August 18 and feature horrific highlights from the previous weeks, all leading up to a fight that has likely haunted your dreams before. (Since we’re feeling charitable, that challenge will remain open for TWO whole weeks).

Just had a radical idea that Kabam can implement if they really intend to screw us over.

Week 10 - Objective “Defeat the Guardian of the Treasure Vault”, Rewards - Key to enter and claim contents in the vault.

    5 fights, 1 slot.

You’ll need the key to claim the peak milestone reward. Gg 😂
@Thanos1149 mentioned the same earlier... let's just say you two are vicious, sadistic savages lol
    😂😂

I doubt they’ll do so though. But if they do, then it’ll be very entertaining to see the forums’ complaints.
