Why can't Fun in the SUN be automatically claimed or pops up to be claimed?

This community is so weird, I don’t understand why you guys don’t want your game to just work correctly lol. Why is it that the summer canteen event is the only quest in the tab that doesn’t show an indicator when its completed. Regardless of whether or not they gave us a 7 day grace period doesn’t mean they should be exempt from just giving us a simple core mechanic that should expected.

It’s not that hard, just give an indicator that the quest is complete.

It's not that we don't want it to work. It's that there are bigger fish to fry.... like maybe the parry and control issues.

All the objectives work in the same way, they would have to build into that a UI blocking interface to ensure that players "claim" their objective. Given with all the other stuff going on, they probably don't want to push a hot fix just for a notification when their is potential code dependencies that could break much bigger things.

What I find weird is that there are so many in the community with an inability to adapt and the memory of a gold fish. People who have missed claiming it a few times already seem to have no ability to increase their awareness that they are actually forgetful.

When you're doing the fights, the screens flashes momentarily with the progress indicator of objectives completed so far, the objective tab glows. I'm cognisant of missing days, so I double check. Why is that so hard for people to pick up. Instead people just come here and whine that it needs to be done the way they want it done or "game = broken".

As for "addressed". Yes, it's been addressed, maybe not how you want it addressed, but it's been addressed. They made an announcement, they added grace period for virtually nothing and they sent an in-game mail. People on here acting like they never said a single thing. You want to bash Kabam for certain things, go ahead, they mess up regularly enough, but maybe pick and choose a better fight.

It’s at least better than the beginning of the event where it was to the right. Now when I want to claim the daily crystals it comes up to the left so I claim it everyday. I still don’t know why they don’t add the red notification thing but it’s not too troublesome now

It may always seems like we whine every chance we get.

But it also seems to me that if we don't, nothing ever gets changed or improved too.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out that things can be done better to improve the quality of life of players. As you can see in this thread alone, many people have missed claiming their milestones and have suffered because of it.

It's a real issue. Whether you think it's significant or not it's still an issue that affect many.

I respect your opinion, however I hope you can respect our rights to raise issues that are important to us too.

Nope, none of them have said they missed more than 7 days, which shows you can claim it in one second if you want to. So no, no one has missed any milestone, plz read and understand the topic more thoroughly before responding. No one has suffered

So they have not missed more than 7 days RIGHT NOW, but how about in the future? There are more than 2 months left in this event right?

Can you guarantee people won't miss more than 7 days in that time?

It was raised ages ago. Kabam responded. They acted to mitigate the issue... yet here we are again. People will only stop complaining until it's resolved in exactly the way they want so that it's offers no inconvenience to them. If it isn't, they're trying to make out like absolutely nothing was done.

So while, I can respect your right to raise the issue. It's a mischaracterization of events to suggest they haven't done anything.

This is almost a month ago and is as a result of listening to the community.

If people grabbed the "grace period days" for 1 gold after missing a few days due to the way the system is.. im sorry but that is YOUR OWN FAULT.
Kabam has acknowledged the situation and gave u a "solution" if u manage to make the same mistake 6 more times in a 98 day period you are just being lazy.

If you miss 1 day, you have to be bright enough to check the next days. As I said, its not exactly rocket science. I can guarantee that I won't miss a single day because I care enough to check before it resets. If you don't care, then leave the rewards, it's nothing game changing.

Because their solution isn't solving the issue.

Why is it so hard to have a standing notification to tell you that there is an unclaimed milestone? They have it for everything else except this event.

Not everyone's as bright as you or as diligent as you at checking, obviously.

All we're asking is a standing notification ala every other milestones we currently have in the game.

I have written off this event ... whatever I get from it, I will be fine with it.

I keep missing days because of the stupid mechanic of claiming it before 6 PM without a notification. I am supposed to believe that they couldn't fix a simple notification button. Ok then.

    Exactly this.

Seems to me it's a botched attempt to use their new reward system, objectives, when they could/should have made the sunglasses a daily solo event. It's also better suited for solo events (in my opinion), as it lasts as long as a solo event, and would have notifications for when the goal has been completed and reset. In short, I think Kabam took the chance to use their newly implemented system, when they already have one better-suited for this.

Also, how can you tell how many days you've missed? I often forget it's even there, so I wouldn't know how many I've already missed.

Exactly! At least make it as part of the daily solo event so it's hard to miss.

And you're right, how to know how many days you've missed? I have no idea.

This issue surely is affecting people game wide - why isn't someone looking into this?
