Kabam why do u keep ignoring arena bots?

Kabam I can see so many bot users and cheaters in arena either for top 100 or milestone as a summoner. I guess you already knew the situation is getting worse.
And some ppl take this for granted. They say it’s quite normal and acceptable to hit milestones by mods. The top 100 6 star cutoff is getting higher as hell! You either don’t pay attention to it or occasionally just 7-day ban? I mean come on. Why do we have to grind manually but they can take advantage of bots? And they’re still safe and continue doing this sh*t at home?

    This is not a problem that Kabam is ignoring, but it is something they are still trying to figure out ways to get ahead of. Simply chasing after the bot farms from behind is a losing battle. Getting ahead of them to prevent them in the first place is a very complex issue. Believe me, if there was a foolproof way to eliminate them from the game I would already be pitching it to Kabam.

    I appreciate your feedback and attention bro. As far as I know, so many players are using bots to farm units in the arenas. And they’re even proud of what they’re doing, because they think it’s time saving and effortless. It’s ridiculous that huge amounts of players are doing this currently in the game!

    That’s not true. We own nothing as a player for the game. As we install and play game, We agree to give final say to kabam. In addition, how realistic for a 700k account with 500k pvp and 1900 win streak. This is just some of it. As a arena junkies myself, I played for than just about most people. I only have 800k pvp in 6 years.

    Not only that, the android PlayStore also have an auto-clicker apps that play the game for you. Maybe not effective as bots, but regardless what, disgusting.

    That seems to be a non-sequitor. Yes, we own nothing legally in this game. What does that have to do with what I said? If you start banning people left and right without regard for actually having good cause, you're going to find yourself on the front page of Kotaku as evil corporation of the week, and frankly EA could use a vacation. Kabam's developers may not answer to us, but they do answer to Kabam management. And if they don't care, they answer to Netmarble management, a publicly traded company. And all of them operate this game at the whim of the Walt Disney Company, a gigantic corporation that cares a thousand times more about their reputation than they do about mercs doing legend runs.

    Players don't own anything, but players are not the problem. Kabam answers to others, and they are the problem. If they decide Kabam is making them look bad, that's not going to work out well for Kabam.
    You discount the fact that bot screw up the legit player that put in millions of pts in arena with time and units and miss the champ because of bots and mercs. Currently it feels like Kabam is ignoring the problem. The backlash for creating a bot and merc environment that we have in arena is a bigger problem than banning the accounts.

    Yes Kabam are doing something about it or are atleast trying to do something about it. However randomnly banning legit players accounts in the hopes that it's a bot is not the way to go about it. How would you like it if your account got permabanned one day?

    Sorry in advance for my ignorance but from the time i've started playing MCOC i've been hearing about this BOT thing. Would be glad if somebody could explain what exactly it is i mean how can people have bots playing for them? they have to create an account and play normally like us. I've seen accounts with very very few 3*/4* /5* champion count but they have very high ranking 6* as their top champions, is this related to BOT thing as well?

    He did not discount that at all. He;s trying to explain why Kabam doesn’t ban people based on “this account looks fishy”. They need more info than that, else they’ll be banning the wrong people, too.

    Botting is a term that goes way back to refer to the practice of someone using software to automate playing a game, usually automating relatively simple repetitive tasks within the game. For PC games this is pretty straight forward, for mobile games this usually (but not always) involves running the game in an emulator on a PC so that PC bot software can be used to automate the gameplay.

    Because the arena is a fairly straight forward and simple task to automate, and because the rewards in the arena are potentially unlimited (limited only by the amount of time you spend in the arena) and because one of those rewards is in-game currency (units) the arena is a very high value target for botters.
