Most of the veteran players will remember the tragedy of v12 update, where our beloved champs got the nerf for a way to pave the road for the removal of God-tier champs. But nearly immediately after that, Blade was introduced, as well as a plethora of a new God-tier.
With such gods now in the contest, the ones we all hunt for, for utility, for power, for sheer domination of the contest. Why not revert the 12.0 update and give our fallen heroes life again.
Thor with his world breaking armor breaks.
Strange with his speedy stance switching.
Scarlett with her insane reality breaking abilities.
Let them be hunted and wanted again, 5star trophy champs no more. Let the old out of their v12 shackles.
I just want to see them back to the way they were, they deserve it.

More like half a year later.
That said, there's nothing stopping those "proper buffs" from incorporating stuff from their pre-nerf days if there's anything worth salvaging there. I certainly won't complain if Thor gets stronger and longer armor breaks - I just want more than that for the OG God of Thunder.

I'm not sure what you *think* happened in 12.0, but 12.0 didn't just nerf a couple champions and call it a day. 12.0 altered the way the game mechanics work on a fundamental level, and every champion designed after 12.0 takes these changes into account. Every single champ released after 12.0 including all powers, abilities, effects, and synergies would have to be re-examined if you were to attempt to revert those changes. Lots of things would probably have to be radically altered or completely dropped from the game entirely. Almost certainly many things would just break.
Take Thor. A lot of people think that the big nerf on Thor was lowering the stack limit on his armor breaks. That was just icing on top. The real change to Thor was a change to armor break mechanics itself, a change you cannot undo by altering Thor's abilities in any way shape or form. Armor break used to stack multiplicatively. In other words, Thor's 11.x armor break was about 100%. That meant basically that one armor break would more or less double the damage dealt to the target: (1 + 1) = 2x. In 12.0 and higher, stacking two such armor breaks would triple damage: (1 + 1 + 1) = 3x; stacking three would quadruple damage. Stacking seven would increase damage by eight times.
In 11.0 and earlier, stacking two such breaks would quadruple damage: 2 x 2. Stacking three would octuple damage: 2 x 2 x 2 = 8. Stacking seven would increase damage by 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 128 times.
That's where Thor's really ridiculous damage came from pre 12.0. And you aren't getting that back, ever.
Scarlet is fine IMO.
But to each his own.
He can quite literally parry sp3 someone to death.
Plus, didn't he have perfect block in the armor phase? He was a tank in that phase, and then Wolverine in the heal phase. That was kind of a lot.
