She's been buffed what, 5 minutes? Since she can't be used the way you play her for the content you want her for, then it's a miss? I wait for much broader and long-term testing than that. A couple months at least. Once again, just because the buff doesn't function how you want to see it function, you think it's a miss? Sure.
I thought the confusion here was born of @BitterSteel talking specifically about the “Miss” mechanic, and @GroundedWisdom here is taking more generally about the champ being a “miss” overall.
But I guess it amounts to the same thing. One person pointing out the utility that would make her meta-relevant is underwhelming, not going to be practical. And the other saying, well, u never know in two months time…
In all honesty since there said there’s wil buff champion every mouth knew it was a bad sign in reality there’s just take a bit in and out im honestly not surprised im rather scabs the ide to buff or call it buff but rather we or changes this champion for a snail rather what now because it neither buff
I don’t mind if a buff doesn’t take a champ to the top level. I’m loving Miles’ buff because it makes him damn fun to play, and his abilities all make sense. There’s no counter locked behind sp3 or 70 hits. He’s not gonna solo any abyss fights, or be the new ghost or anything. But his abilities work really nicely.
Gamora’s buff does not make sense. It is bad design, and I really wouldn’t care if she had the same buff, except the counter was on 3 hits, if she had 5- 10 seconds more on her buffs, and the true strike was on Sp1. She would counter the same things, she would be more or less the same. But she would make more sense.
This buff though, is awful. Ten buffs is too many, sp3 is too much for her utility. I would hate to see more buffs like this in future. Which is why I’m so vocal about it.
Make a champ whatever tier you want them to be, but make their abilities logical so they *can* be used.
I'm not obligated to prove anything because I haven't made any assertions about it. I pointed out that people don't always look past their own applications. Other than that, I explained that I don't jump to judgments with any Champs. That is the extent of it, and my process isn't going to change regardless of who thinks they're right or not.
Can you give me an example of a place where going 70 hits seems reasonable to counter miss?
Doesn’t have to be end game, I’m trying to look past my own applications.
I'm not proving or disproving your opinions. You can keep trying to call me out to say you're right, but I'm not biting. I've told you my stance on it, and that's that.
So you say Gamora’s buff isn’t necessarily bad, yet you won’t give any example of where it could be good? And people can give you countless examples of situations when it’s bad?
Doesn’t seem like the evidence is stacking up in your favour.

I mean you can call a skunk a rat but without proof you’re wrong.

What are you talking about? Have I said anything about the buff? Have I said it was a success? Have I said it was a flop? I said a number of things, none of which said anything remotely close to what's been challenged. I'm not responding to quasi-bully mentality just because I won't jump on the bandwagon and say it's useless. This is ridiculous. I form my own damn opinions. I don't let other people form them for me. End of discussion.

No you seemed to vehemently say that we can't make a final judgement on a buff that we already knew how it would turn out by testing what exists ingame.

Nobody here cares that you haven’t formed your opinion. We care that you’re telling us that we can’t form our opinions.
You can play the victim or you can step up and own your words.
I'd still be disappointed to pull Gamora, and wouldn't consider ranking her in the slightest. That shouldn't be said of any newly buffed champ -- or any new champ, for that matter.
It's impossible to make all champs equal yet diverse. It's fine for some to overshadow others. The problem comes when the usefulness-divide is as massive as it is.
If, at current, champs are rated by the SABCDEF, then B should be the minimum goal of all buffs.
All new champs should be S or A though; B-tier Cavs don't sell like hotcakes ya dorks.
I think she'll be a beast for Cav EQ whenever they have that "Get Falter every X hits/Get True Strike with enough buffs" node combo, but otherwise I'm not sold on her as a miss counter. Sure, 60 seconds into a fight she might be a viable one, but if I specifically want a miss counter, I want it from the start.
Same thing with her SP3 true strike. In general questing, locking such an ability behind the SP3 is a terrible idea. No one ever uses an SP3 for that kind of utility. When was the last time anyone built up Starky to his SP3 to place Ensnare on an opponent? No one does that.
FYI her buffs don’t fall off all at once. Makes it a bit easier to manage. That wasn’t in her spotlight that I saw.
Her buffs have different duration depending on how long the fights gone for, what you're seeing is the initial buffs falling off faster than the most recent ones. She's always done this.
@SwarmOfRavens really? I guess I never took time to notice. I just refreshed and added a few more and saw some stayed after the initial dropped off. Good to know. Thanks!

Only because she gets a better way to deal with Miss from the cosmic node
Yeah, that's exactly my point. Under those specific circumstances, she'll quickly build 10 buffs and have no problem countering miss. Peachy! But under regular circumstances, it seems like a rather clunky and unreliable mechanic since it'll take too long for her to reach 10 buffs for it to be as immediately accessible as it often needs to be.
