Not another "compensation is not enough for us" post but i genuinely wanna know why and how kabam thought this compensation was useful for everybody ingame.
I cant claim them because they'll go straight to the overflow, I dont play much aw and rarely pop into aq.
And also the connection symbol is so fitting for the picture too lol

No items expiring = no problem.
As a simple example let’s say you have 3 players:
1 plays AQ, and a little of AW and requires 3 AQ pots and 2 AW pots.
2 plays Aw and a little of AQ and requires 3 AW pots and 2 AQ pots
3 plays a bit of both and requires 2 of each.
If Kabam compensates 2 AQ pots and 2 AW pots, then player 1 feels great about AW, but annoyed about AQ. 2 feels great about AQ but annoyed about AW. Player 3 gets fairly compensated.
However, what Kabam has done in this situation, is essentially compensate 3 AQ pots, and 3 AW pots. Meaning player 1 and 2 are happy because they were compensated the amount they needed, and over compensated for one mode. Player 3 has been over compensated for both modes, so is happy too!
Essentially, what you are in this situation is player 3 complaining that they don’t need all these items, what are you supposed to do?
This compensation is designed to replace items you have lost due to a bug. It is not meant to be “useful” per se. If you do not need the items because you play at a lower tier, then congratulations, you haven’t been affected by the bug enough to need the items.
Now, a fair few people are saying “why give us AQ/AW rewards, we want solo revives”. Which is a fair, but poorly reasoned point. Yes, Kabam should give us some solo event items to compensate us, but it’s not a choice between AQ or AW or EQ. There are some players who play all 3 at a high level and need compensation for all.
When you say “why give us AQ, we need EQ”. What you are saying is, stop giving us AQ altogether, replace it with EQ revives. Which I hope you know is not a good rationale, it’s basically “compensate all of us for what affects me based on me and me alone”. What we should be asking is for EQ revives *as well as* AQ and AW revives.
If you’re not needing the current compensation and it’s overflowing, guess what, it’s done it’s job. Not to be glib, and I’m not comparing the severity of the situation, but to draw a parallel, it’s like a foreign aid worker complaining they sent too much bottled water - Mission accomplished.
But you began by saying what are you supposed to do with these. Answer: to use them in AQ and AW, if you don’t need to use them, and they’re overflowing - perfect, the compensation has done it’s job. You haven’t lost out on items due to the bug.
And by saying “ i genuinely wanna know why and how kabam thought this compensation was useful for everybody ingame.” Answer: they don’t. They know not everyone will use them. But it’s better to overcompensate some who don’t do AQ and AW, than under compensate those who do.
You say your point wasn’t to stop giving us AQ and AW, but do you see how the wording of your original post heavily implies that you think these compensations aren’t worth giving?
You’re insulting him and arguing with him about something he’s admitted already. Chill
Regardless of your point, no matter if it’s right or wrong - you spoke down to him by saying not even someone with the lowest intelligence would ask what he asked. At that point, nobody should care what your point is, you’re just being rude.
