Practically what title says, I have enough valor to buy one. I have 20 four stars and 2 fives. So which one should I get?

    Who are your rank 4s?
    I would want t4cc if you have that many rank 4s but it depends on the champs

    If you are in a 'hurry' to obtain better 4* champs, well it is worth a try.
    Otherwise, planning for the mid-term is useful which means looking at upgrade materials, T4CC, T1A etc.

    The champ you are thinking of taking from 4/40 to 5/50, is it a champion that is going to change the game for you? Something like, you have difficulty doing master mode but with that champ it will be smooth sailing. Something like that. If so, rank up.

    If not, then the question becomes, are you thinking about the short term or the long term? In the short term, I think getting more 4* crystals will be better. You don't sound like you have many, and you get more benefit from having a large roster than a couple high ranked ones (but see above first). But in the longer term, absolutely everyone eventually gets lots of 4* champs. But not everyone gets a large amount of T4CC. The T4CC might be more valuable in the long run unless you end up in a strong alliance that has them coming out of their ears.

    I ranked up a duped rogue to 5/50 and it allowed me to do map 5 without dying, which is huge for progression since it gets you way more t4cc in a shorter amount of time. But it's a trade off because the alliance I'm in is much more time intense

    I bought a T4CC, and a Basic. Deciding whether to buy another Basic or a 4*. I'm leaning towards Basic, as I'm sitting on another 3 T4CC. My suggestion is to get what will make your gameplay easier. I might grab some T2CCs if there's change left. They always come in handy because it saves fishing the Daily.

    My current best champs are magik, vulture, psylocke(unawakened), Red hulk(awakened), Joe fixit(awakened), Doc strange(unawakened), Punisher(unawakened), 5* iron patriot(unawakened), 5* cyclops(unawakened), and Dormmamu(unawakened). I plan to up Majik (awakened) and vulture(unawakened) up to rank 5 cause they help me the most

    I think the general 'rule' is no rank 5 unawakened champ.

    You should rank up Dormammu quickly.

    That all depends on the Champ. Several don't need to be Awakened to be very useful.

    4* doesnt guarantee a good champ... T4CC is the better option.. more likely to get what you want from the t4cc crystal than a good champ from the 4*.. and with the roster you have, any t4cc would be great

    I would definitely go with the T4CC, even if you decide not to use it at the moment. 4* crystals are much easier to obtain through grinding than coming across T4CC.

    I grabbed 2 T4CC and 1 T4B.

    I have ~250k Valor left, and having done all of the events, the only major source of Valor will be from featured arenas, of which I only do up to the 350k milestone to qualify for rank, and the bounties, so maybe I'll get another 500k to get a 2nd T4B out of it.

    I already have plenty of 4*, and usually average at least 1 (or more) a week in shards anyway.

    So I would recommend the T4CC. From the sounds of it, your access to them is going to be limited, so getting a r5 will do far more than a random 4*.

    I'd get tier 4 basic or tier 1 alpha or tier 2 alpha

    For what you have, it sounds like maybe the T4CC crystal is something you need more

    2T4cc for me already, and I’m planning to go to the third. However, considering high cost of the third one (approximately 1.6M valors), I would go for 1 t4b, 1000 5* shards and as many T1 alpha as I could buy with remaining valors.

    Having said that, T4cc is harder to get even for late game player (I am in top 500 alliance). Unless you are in weekly t4c alliance, stocking t4cc will definetely benefit you in the long run.

    And for ranking up your champs, the rule of thump is R3 all of 4*, R4 amazing champs and R5 God tier champs. I personally don’t R4 champs unless I intend to R5 them later.
