Site Maintenance Booted Me Out Of 6.2.6 with 10% to go!

I decided to grind through 6.2.6 (even with all of the bugs and issues) and I reached The Champion and using too many units got him down to the 10% level where I proceeded to die horrible deaths. No worries, I thought! I will practice, practice, practice, earn some more units and return to defeat him when I was ready.

After the update and the site maintenance, to my VERY HUGE SURPRISE, I had been booted from the quest and was asked to start it again. What’s up with this, Kabam? I intentionally was trying to keep this steady so I wouldn’t have to burn through another couple thousand units to beat this guy and now, you want me to start again?

I never quit the level. Never hit that button. Was ready for a long hard training session, but now I might just abandon this whole game and quit. It completely wrecked my enthusiasm for this game. Maybe it’s time to retire once and for all.

    There's been several people that claim it, never seen any proof other than just posts. I was at the end of a fight on Tuesday night and when I logged back in I was still in the quest and even had full health. I just don't know how it's possible maintenance can kick anyone out of a quest.
    It shouldn't, and generally doesn't, but it does sometimes happen. I had it happen to me once. I don't think it is the maintenance itself that does it, rather this is something that can happen due to a back end issue that can actually extremely rarely happen at any time, but a scheduled maintenance triggers the condition so it looks like maintenance did it, when what maintenance did was inadvertently trigger some other failure mode that then did it.

    Contact support. I got kick out of quest once after maintenance or something. Support was able to put me back in the quest and the last fight. Obviously any boosts will be gone.

    Thanks for the tips everyone! I contacted support. Now, hopefully, they can drop me back into the nightmare of beating the Champion.

    I realize that some people are having a hard time believing it and think that proof is required, but I don't know how to go back in time and prove it. I was in and ready to go back and fight and then, when I went back to play, I had been booted. Thanks for all those people who think that I'm making it all up. Nice that you have my back!

    Thinking back, I think I was kick out of quest when the game crash. It was not from maintenance. Support was able to confirm that I did not quit/exit of the quest on my own.

    Make sure you didn’t start any new quest. Wait for support to response.

    Thousands of units ? Dude I think you are simply not ready for this . I am a very mediocre player and I passed it with just barely over a dozen recides and about as many potions . Try to wait a bit for your roster to improve and to rack up some potions and revived in your stash and you will be able to do it far more easily . Especially with practice

    I really don’t get how hard it is for people to understand this idea. Like is it THAT important to play the game a few minutes to half an hour before maintenance
