What is Considered Grindy?

Evaluating the new objectives and Bewhiskered and Worlds End solo events….
…would you consider these grindy? One event requires 500 arena fights, the other 200 fights with a bewhiskered champ. Objectives require a mish-mash of fights with the 3* Eternals champs and some require finishing the SQ lanes (which in turn require players to bring the 3* Eternals as a ride along).
I’m curious what the forums community thinks here.

The arena ones will vary, but it’s like 18 arena fights (or 6 perfect rounds) a day. I’ll bring grinding for a lot of units since I’m going for gm very soon but for others it’ll be a slog they may pass up on.
The bearded champs I feel as if it’s too hard to tell considering everyone uses different champs in their day-to-day questing but I think if I’m not there with a week to go I’ll start pushing for it
All in all, it doesn’t feel super-grindy. If there’s a sense that this is relatively reasonable, that’s a solid comparison point to the past couple of months—both for the community and the team.

It is kind of a difficult question to answer because it is not like there's an "average" answer. There are no average players it would apply to. I would describe them as being targeted at high engagement players - in terms of trying to complete them all. Casual players that don't *need* to complete everything are also fine with objectives they can't fully complete, because they don't complete everything anyway - in fact content that can't be completed can be a positive for those players, because from their perspective they always get rewarded. If they play two hours they get rewarded, if they play six hours they get rewarded more. Completists in a sense stop getting rewards past a certain point.
For players that want to be completists but struggle to do so, this kind of thing is probably not the best.
And after two hours, I am doing the exact same thing I was doing to start.
Aka, every time I play the arena.
I’m under the “do as much content in 2 days as possible then coast the rest of the month” type of player. So it’s a grind fest for me atm. Also adding in arenas that I don’t usually do 😫
Arena is a grind by nature, and 200 fights with a bewhiskered champ is probably something I’ll end up doing with autoplay.
I'm a lazy player lol
I can even do this month's objectives during my nap time.
just thinking of doing 500 fights makes me want to quit the game, who finds that kind of repetitiveness fun? i guess you can argue the repetitive game bugs seem somewhat addictive xD, i guess this event favors the arena peeps who already invest their personal time for the free units and BC BUT that is such a small amount of people of the community.
There's Too Many Of Them!!!
Procrastination will make it feel grindy. Git er dun.
i think its safe to say kabam has those numbers tho. Of actual active players uncollected and above that sign in at least once a week. but i think its also safe to say a huge number of people dont have the time to run arena just for units that they might not even need while still needing to run other content. especially cav-TB, tend to run monthly and side content for shards and rank up material, while unit grinders is a higher form of investment time wise. i wouldnt find it logical to say there are more unit grinders than over all regular content players.
