    Jokes apart, it's ten people per BG with 6 energy each, so that's sixty tiles worth at the beginning. If opponent leaves the map empty then it's just a matter of going down the centre. If someone can post the total tiles along the middle path then it's a pretty simple calculation.

    I believe the fastest for total exploration is about 12-15 hours but I could easily be mistaken

    we finished the Normal Map in 10 Hours, Intermediate in 14, Challenger in 16

    He was asking about Explore.
    Even with empty nodes, you need to explore (travel past) ALL nodes (all paths) in order to get the automatic 240 Attack Bonus for those empty nodes as well as the Explore points for each travel node.
