Old champions prestige

So as some of you may know i took Hyperion up as my first r4 6* and while i dont regret it for a second and knew what i was doing i still have to say i think its rather ridiculous that you have champs like him and ghost and other great champs who are in the mid 14k prestige wise while you have others up at 16k.
Now usually when old champs get buffed their prestige is taken up to a more average to high level aswell and since neither of hype and ghost will ever receive a buff that just seems like a issue. They obviously shouldn't get a buff but starting to increase prestige of some older champs who are already good i think would be a fair thing. No need to make them top prestige champs but having some max sig r4s barely outscoring top r3 6* still seems very weird to me.
What are other peoples thoughts on this? I know i didnt feel any pressure to rank another for prestige but i know others who do cause their prefered choices is way below and i dont like people feeling like they have to rank someone at this rank which is so rare that they dont necessarily want

Since prestige correlates strongly with desirability, making widely available older champs as desirable as newer champs reduces the desirability of newer champs.
I don’t think Kabam want to play this game, and while I agree that it’s ridiculous for champs like Magneto, I can understand where they’re coming from.
